Simply delicious
Gjetost is a delicious accompaniment to my Norwegian waffles and other breakfast breads. It's not too sweet, not too cheesy. I tried it for the first time at Høstfest and was delighted to find it available through Amazon here in Texas. I'll be a repeat customer!

So good!
I was afraid to try this, it looks like caramel and smells like cheez whiz. I ate it folded into a waffle sandwich and it was delicious. My husband’s grandparents are Norwegian and he told me to ‘just try it’! Glad I did! Best cheese sandwich ever.

Give it a try, mixed in something or just in slices, it’s great!
I love this cheese. I put it in bran muffins and it makes a subtle yummy difference. Texture is very temperature-dependent. As I start grating it, it doesn’t clump but after the block warms up, it gets stickier at room temperature. Regardless it makes great muffins! Subtle sweetness and caramel flavor!

Love this cheese, so glad to see it here
First had this cheese on a trip to Sweden in the 70's (spent the summer there). I know Murray's Cheese in NYC sells it, but I no longer live in the city. Arrived but the ice was already melted. Thankfully it did not melt, It is not like other cheeses so if you've never had it before you might want to taste it at Murray's if you can :)

Still Cold!
It was delivered and stayed cold throughout. My grandpa loved it!

Unmistakeable taste.
Too expensive with shipping. Last only a couple of days for one person, one day or so with more persons. Haven’t tasted this for decades but the flavor is unmistakable exactly as I remember from my childhood.

Bad packaging, slow delivery.
It took over one week for this product to arrive, even though I pay for Prime. I expected more urgency considering it is a perishable item. The size is MUCH SMALLER than anticipated, offering very little value for money. When the package finally arrived, the ice packs were completely melted and warm, and the cheese was no longer fresh. The texture was chewy and the taste was spoiled. Complete waste.
