Pretty decent bits - used on brass and aluminium and stayed reasonably sharp for a decent time . No complaints

Seemed a promising purchase at first. The bits I received are 1/8 dia. at the shank but 3mm cutting dia. Cutting 6082 aluminium at quite moderate speeds and feeds the first 4 bits broke in succession. Gave up using them for aluminium after that, reserved the remaining bits for machining wood/plastics rather than just bin them. Either I received a bad batch or there is an inherent weakness in design/manufacture. Update. Used 5th bit for edge milling on aluminum which gave excellent results and finish milling a 10mm deep face cut. Noticed the bit actually bending when it first touched the aluminium but subsequent cutting performance was very good.

They work very nicely on aluminum on a GENMITSU PROVerXL 4030. Highly recommended! No gumming, no lubricant needed. Calibrate your bit if precision needed as they do not cut a full 0.125in. Safe CNC setup: Feed 1016mm/min, 10000rpm, 0.5mm stepdown, 1.5mm stepover, 0.1mm finishing pass. You could probably push more but this setup worked for a full day without need for a bit change or breaking.

I'm totally amazed by these bits, especially at this price point. Works way better than uncoated carbide single-flutes I've used before. I mainly use these bits for cut-off of aluminum parts from 1/4" plates. On 6061-T6 and not so rigid modified-3018 router I was using, I could achieve stable cut at: Roughing: 2.5mm DOC, full slotting, 300 mm/s (could potentially go even faster) Finishing with these bits gives an mirror-like finish (0.05mm step over) Little to no chattering. I am able to mill down to 0.4mm thin walls on a 1/4" 6061 plate with no issue. Previously with uncoated single-flutes I was only able to get to 1.5mm DOC slotting before chips start to melt on the milled walls, and if you don't clean them up the next pass it melts on the bit and kills it. On these bits I have tried slotting at 3mm DOC and only then it start to have a couple of chips stuck to the walls. That is 1x diameter FULL SLOTTING on a 1/8" end mill! Usual rule of thumb "do not slot deeper than one third diameter" seems over conservative for these bits. These bits are especially nice on routers that lack a bit of rigidity. I am at least 3x more productive than before now using these DLC coated bits.
