I bought this for my 13-year old niece. What teenager wouldn’t like a beautiful flower in fun colors to sit on their dresser or vanity and then with a small twist have it blossom and bloom into all aspects of makeup they could possibly need. This is age appropriate for young adults. The makeup is as you would expect comparable to that of a Claire’s makeup palette. It turned and opened nicely and cleanly each time it was tested.

Once I figured out how to open it, we were amazed with how cool it was. When you twist the top, all of the petals emerge and each one of them has their own colors of shadow and lip gloss. We were pretty impressed! It is sturdy and moves in and out smoothly. We have had it since Christmas time and it is still working great.

Gift for my daughter who will be 5 years old. It's a cute set. Twist the top and the flower blooms and the makeup slides out. It's cute. Strong fragrance smell so I hope it is true to being hypoallergenic. We'll see when my daughter opens it and tries the makeup which I am sure she will be doing right away. Well after riding her new power wheel of course 😂 unless she wants to get all filled up before she takes a cruise. Will update if anything negative happens.Thanks.

Giving it 4 stars because one of them came with a wing/petal broken it will not close completely. But overall it is a good buy. My main concern was skin sensitivity. My daughter breaks out to many make up kits for kids I was beginning to believe I needed to just order bare minerals make up for her. She has many allergies but is doing well with this. My daughter has medium skin tone(afro-latina) and there are some shades that make her look clownish but a few that compliment her skin tone. I will even allow her to wear them out without the risk of looking too grown, as she is only 10. They are not glitter free but the glitter is not the invasive falls on everything everywhere kind. I have had no complaints from my friend whose daughter I gifted one to.
