Whisps Cheese Crisps Variety Pack, Protein Chips, 2.12 Oz, 6 Pack

Bought these for a gift, and they were delighted to get them. Whoever invented this snack really got it right with zero carbs and great crunch.

Considering all aspects of this product, would award 3-1/2 stars. It's a pretty tasty snack -- just a bit salty & greasy. The calcium & protein content would seem to keep this item well out of the "junk food" category. It seems that not too many genuinely shelf-stable snacks provide good calcium content -- this one does. Purchased for healthy road-trip eats and it should be a good contribution. Similar to what at least one other reviewer noted, some bags do have a lot of broken pieces and crumbs.

My hubby and I LOVE these snacks!! ...BUT for the price, it is not the best deal. *wince...sorry. We have been buying these snacks from Costco for awhile now, but on one of our trips, we couldn't find them! We asked one of the associates for help locating them but were given the news, "Sorry, we do not carry that item anymore." I left the store that evening really bummed while discussing about alternate places to look for our favorite snacks. Propelled by my sadness, my husband looked here on Amazon for the solution. He found them, and bought this vary variety pack! Cool, right? I was thrilled to come home to my...ahem, our, favorite snack and was over the moon with the new flavors, as well!! I truly was in heaven to have our snacks again. Moreover, I found the Pepper Jack variety quickly becoming my new favorite, such good flavor...NOM! Alas, the honeymoon had to come to an end. I came to realize, after a Friday night in of "Netfritz and Whisps", that we finished the bag quicker than we normally had in the past!! I mean, the movie was a true nail biter, but to finish a whole bag of Crisps...whaaaaa, how? Next morning, I looked at the net weight on the packaging and saw that it was 2.12 oz!!! Again, WHAAAA?! Maybe it was my excitement of having my Crisps again, maybe it was the change of presentation of the snack bag, but I did not notice the drastic change in bag size! - Costco bag: 9.5 oz = $9.99. About $1.05 per ounce. - Amazon bags: 12.72 oz (total weight) = $20.85. About $1.64 per ounce. Basically, if you opt for the Amazon route, as soon as you open that bag, you'll end up paying $0.59 more for ever ounce of deliciousness!! Now, I don't consider myself, "stingy", but that's a heavy burden!! So, if you decide that having variety in your Whisps collection, or the price difference is of no concern to you, it's only Monopoly money, than by all means, click that "Buy Now" button. Otherwise, since it does seem to carry this brand again, your neighborhood Costco would be your best bet.

I wish I had known about these sooner. I have been keto'ing now for 3 months (down 20 lbs woohoo!), and I have been looking at snack options. I tried other dried cheeses (moon cheese, bleh...Just the cheese, ok), but nothing compares to this! I CAN'T STOP EATING THEM! I ordered the variety 5-pack and have already eaten nearly the whole bag of Asiago & pepper jack. And at just TWO net carbs PER BAG!!!! I am going to finish it. Ha! It's almost the same macros as a big spoonful of nut butter, but it's crunchy and flavorful and cheese! It did take 8 days after ordering to arrive, which was a bummer, but that is definitely not the cheese's fault. 5 stars. Will recommend to everyone! Order in advance so it gets there on time. **Update after trying other flavors: The Tomato Basil had to get tossed, yucky flavor. The BBQ Bacon was good, odd aftertaste. The cheddar cheese was alright, weird texture after chewing. The Parmesan was good. Next time I order, will just get the Asiago flavor only. They were the best!

I am obsessed with these! All the flavors taste so good and I love cheese. Also love that I get extra protein from them as well.

They are WAY to salty, to the point that I can not eat them. Not sure why they need to add so much salt. Would be good with 1/4 of the salt

These are expensive, but delicious. These have a satisfying crunch and a great flavor. The trick is to not eat them all in one sitting.
