SchecterElectric Guitar C-8 Deluxe - Satin White (SWHT)

I got the Satin White version and ergonomically this is a well balanced guitar, and even though it’s my first guitar with more than 6 strings, the action feels very natural and I think it’ll be pretty easy to learn to adapt to it.The only issue I have is that this satin white picks up every single bit of grime and is not afraid to show it off. My heart sank when I first opened the box because I thought there was a huge gash, but it’s just the dust in the box rubbed on. It’s been no problem getting the grime off, but if you’re going to be playing this one a lot, you may want to make sure you keep a microfiber towel and your favorite non-aggressive cleaner close by after each session to give it a nice wipe down.Otherwise for the price I paid, I think this is an excellent guitar and am very excited to learn to play it.

item got to me a week earlier than forecast! took it out of the packaging - tuned it up - wham bam thank you jam! I’m a lifelong POOR guitarist that wanted to experiment w/an 8 string - thought for sure this would be below my "custom standard" - but I’m thankful to report it’s a pleasant surprise! Both Dimebag & Slash wanted inexpensive guitars/instruments available to fans - this is exactly the same idea but more in the vein of a Tosin Abasi! I NEVER imagined $399.00 could afford an ebony fretboard & such a decent NEW guitar!

The guitar has a good feel but the item shipped to me failed. One of the pickups failed and I asked to exchange for a higher end model (after figuring out that I liked the 8 string, since this is an entry level guitar) and pay the difference and the seller denied the request. There’s probably a manufacturer warranty but that’s obviously a pain to deal with when you purchase an item from a retailer approx 60 days from it failing. I wouldn’t buy another item from this seller.

I love the guitar but it came with a dent in the back. Luckily it’s not it a very visible part of the guitar. And I do not want to wait for returns, so I will be filling it myself.

I think it sounds terrible in my opinion. got a chipped fretboard on my low F# string, then my D and G string will NOT STOP BUZZING. raised the action, redid the intonation, brought it to a store.IT.WON'T.STOP.BUZZING.
