Good quality but not ideal for long walks
The Addidas Five Ten Freerider MTB shoes appear to be excellent quality and have nice styling. By design, the shoes have a stiff sole with minimal cushion. You wouldn't want to walk in these shoes for very long for that reason. The heel is a little lower than a normal tennis shoe (by design, I'm sure). I ordered an 8 and 1/2 (which is my normal size) and the shoes fit, but with no room to spare. I prefer a cycling shoe that has a sole with more cushioning (even if that's not ideal from an energy transfer perspective) and one with a slightly thicker heel, and a sole that isn't quite as stiff. For those reasons, I decided to return these and got the Sandugo D/H Enduro Cross Trail Commuter BMX shoes. In addition, the Sandugos (which I also ordered in a size 8 and 1/2) are ever-so-slightly roomier. And they cost less. The styling of the Sandugos is fine even if it's not quite as cool as the Addidas Five Ten Freeriders.

Great shoe
These were delivered as I was getting in my car to meet a friend for a ride. When we got to the ride I opened the box to just try them on. They fit amazing. I do have a wider foot so a lot of times I need to stretch a shoe out before I use them. I decided to just were them that day. No issues at all I really like this shoe.

Stick well to MTB pedals
Switched from clipless pedals to platform pedals and these shoes. Pleasantly surprised how well these grip the aluminum cleats on my platform pedals. Glad I made the switch to platform.

Solid Shoe Order a Size Up
Looking for a shoe to fit a wide foot and most failed even at a size up. This shoe works and feels great. Will update when I get several months on the trail.

Fits like a shoe should
Fit was perfect, comfortable and itβs well made. Nothing negative to say, but I wish they made a slip on version. Shoe strings can tend to be a problem.

Nice shoes
These are for mtb and street ware....i like these shoes even though they sent wrong color...so typical from CHINA...but that's okay...i went with it...more hassle to return than not bother...so all good...does the job.

Huge benefit on the trail
Used to ride in regular ol' sneakers like a chump, until I went on some proper trails and to my horror I had next to no grip. No more! If you're just getting into mountain biking, listen up - get yourself a pair of these in combination with some good platform pedals, & thank me later. These will keep you absolutely PLANTED on the bike & help with climbing, descending, maneuvering & whatever else you want to put yourself through. After a few rides in these, I found myself easily doing things that seemed straight up intimidating before - all because I no longer had to waste energy fighting for grip, & was putting the power down where it needed to go. Sometimes all it takes is some decent gear to make riding safer & more enjoyable. As for the color - get whatever has the biggest discount. If you ride often, these won't stay clean for very long, so it won't matter how pretty the color is when they are.

Wide feet
Wide feet rejoice. I usually wear a 10.5eee and this shoe size 10.5 fit me perfectly. Grippy and planted on the bike. Will update on durability

Everyone should have a pair
Great looking, rugged, bombproof, comfortable and just amazing. They stick to my pedals and when I get off my bike they are great everyday trainers. Size was spot on. I find I use them more than any other shoe and in black they are inoffensive and go with most casual clothes. Only complaint is that the stock laces are very long (caught in my pedals once or twice) but you could always swap them out.

Spot on.
Great shoes. Perfect fit as expected. Only gripe is they are very flat inside and so I needed more arch support. - Easily fixed with an insert.

Slightly smaller than expected
Sizing is a bit small I found. That's the down side, however these are really worth the money. I did t want to buy a pair due to the cost, but got persuaded. Totally worth it! So much grip it's mental. Highly recommended!
