I purchased 2 of these. The first one died within 1 year. The replacement died within 6 months. Waste of money.

I previously had a BTJ 750mA hooked up to a kids toy car battery before buying these. It seems the BTJ still cause the same over charge problem that you would get with using the manufacture charging cable and 12v batteries. It stopped really holding a charge after about a year or so.I have had these running for a couple weeks with new batteries. Will update in a few months.

I have always liked deltran battery tender products. They have kept my motorcycle, generator and lawnmower batteries good for years so I decided to purchase this for the kids power wheels. Works great the only complaint is that the positive and negative contact surface on the power wheels adapter is not as long as the manufacturer charger so you can’t plug the adapter into the battery all the way. The adapter has to be plugged in and then backed off about 1/4” otherwise it won’t charge.

Bought and used this for the kids power wheels batteries, it worked on one and not the other two new batteries. Now the thing is giving me constant amber flash on all batteries and the new one I bought last month (my kids love their toys). The chargers that came with the power wheels all charge just fine.

Seems to work ok but my issues are with the light indicator. Amber (charging) and green ( fully charged) lights are damn near impossible to see.
