Browne Two-Tine Elite Pot Fork

This fork was just what I was looking for! It is strong, sharp, sturdy, and well crafted. It has an elegant smooth polish that is easy to clean. The weight, balance, and handle give you confidence that you won't lose your roast when you lift it out of the pot! :-)

Heavy Duty, you never have to worry about the handle coming off the fork. Does not bend, very thick and sturdy. Feels easy to grip in your hands, and most importantly, the handle doesn't feel like it's going to break off.

As far as doing it's job, which is to help hold and carve the Thanksgiving turkey, it performed wonderfully. The prongs (tines) are sharp at the tip and strong. It held that turkey in place on the platter! The handle is nicely shaped to hold. Clean up is easy because the entire fork is one piece. There are no seams or crevices for food and debris to accumulate. But I bought this fork because I ordered all new 18/10 WMF Bistro serveware for my Thankgiving dinner this year and I couldn't find a 2-pronged fork in that line here on Amazon. Based on the positive reviews and on the description that this fork is also stainless steel, I ordered it along with the 18/10 WMF Bistro serveware. But boy, the stainless steel of this fork looks and feels very much different than the stainless steel of the WMF serveware I got. It doesn't have the beauty and weight like the other 18/10 serve ware I purchased. It's not polished or elegant. In fact it looks and feels a bit like aluminum. I am going to keep this fork because it works well and will be perfect for less formal dinners, parties, BBQs. But it probably won't make it to my Thanksgiving table again next year. A little disappointing because I will likely keep on searching for a beautiful 2-prong fork I can love.

I really like the feel of the fork. It has a good heft, bit is not heavy. The only negative is the sticker on the handle was difficult to get off. I would buy again

My two prong meat fork was 30 years old and developed rust that was growing. It was plated and underneath wasn't stainless. I got tired of going to the buffet and digging out the carving set to use the fork in it so I decided to order an inexpensive one that wouldn't be out of place or take up a lot of room in the kitchen. I looked at most of the offerings on Amazon and a local brick & mortar retailer and settled on this inexpensive choice. It's great. Nice heft, feels good in the hand and holds the meat for braising, turning or carving. In other words, it does what I purchased it to do. And isn't that the bottom line?

My trial for the quality of flat wear and cooking utensils is to take the item and try to bend it. I hav elimited hand strength, so it's not like the Hulk is twiting the item into a pretzel, but it does me a lot about the utensil. This one doesn't bend. It flexes a bit, but is sturdy, attractive, well made and finished well. There is no seam where handle joins tines, so no bacteria collects. I'm replacing all my kitchen stuff with those seams, since they are a hot bed of contamination. This one is a winner. I like it. Goes with any kitchen color.

As advertised. Sleek, sturdy, good size. Nice finger grips. Hate the stuck on pepper adhesive label that doesn’t pull easily off, but takes lots of hot soaped water , steel wool and a broken nail.
