Soooooo sweet but sooooo good!!
I was gifted my copy of this book.I don't read other reviews before I read a book, I did a long time ago, but got burnt and I swore I would never again. I will, however, read them after I've read a book but before I write mine. I like to see if other people feel the same as I do.I came across a review that said something, and a had a big fat bell going ding ding DING in my head and she nailed exactly how I felt.Ms Ryecart writes sweeter books so beautifully! And this is so freaking sweet, it really is.I loved how very early on, both men felt something for each other, but it does take time for that to develop into more. I loved being made to wait, I really do.I loved that Oliver wanted what Joss, but knew he would be leaving. He messes up big time, though, in that area. He does, however, redeem himself so very beautifully!I loved Joss grandma, and what she does for the ladies of the village. Made me laugh out loud a time or three, and I rarely react verbally when reading. I loved all the nosiness of the villagers, I really did. I understood why growing up in that Joss wanted to leave but I liked that everyone knew everyone else.Loved that James and Perry pop up (from Take My Breath Away) so it was great to catch up with them.I loved this book, I really did. And as such, it can only get...5 full and shiny stars*same worded review will appear elsewhere

Delightlful MM romance
Set in a small village on England's South Coast, we meet Oliver and Joss. Joss is desperate to escape the small village life and head to a city to explore and live life. Oliver has escaped the city life to settle into village life. Two opposites with different views on life.Great characters, and well written; I thoroughly enjoyed this book.Ali is always a great writer. This book isn't full of sex, there is some, but this is about the couple and how they actually gel over their differences. Beautifully written and a must-read. I recommend this book.Animal Instincts: A grumpy/sunshine, small town sweet with heat MM romance (Love's Harbour) Kindle Editionby Ali Ryecart (Author)❤❤❤❤ Story

Great new series
Off to a great start with this new series (although James and Perry appear so maybe it's more an offshoot of their series - the age gap theme certainly persists).* age gap* vet* grumpy/sunshine* the best best friends (James for Oliver and Declan for Joss)* low angst, although Oliver's 'selfless act' at around 80% both pissed me off and made me cry for the next few chapters 😢* glorious location - a costal village in Devon. Sounds idyllic.* kickass grannyLovely story. Joss is a cutie. And there's plenty of others I want HEA for: Declan and Charles (there's a story there), and Ryan needs a good man (as long as it's not creepy Vince).

Purrfect
A great story. Joss and Oliver meet, can't stop thinking about each other and things go from there. With the usual dramas that entail. I would say it's low to medium angst. But it has comedic parts too. Joss's Gran. I'll say no more.

Oh That Man on the Cover
Oliver is a 38-year-old veterinarian who needs to escape his lucrative but personally disastrous practice in London. So he escapes, so to speak, to a quaint seaside village where he accidentally runs into 22-year-old barrister Josh whose ambition is to escape the village and move to more exciting things in London.I will be frank: I thought the book's blurb was far too vague for me to pursue but that man on the cover? OK, I was swept away by him so I wanted to find out everything there is to know about him. Along the way we got a good deal of Joss' life as well, with his Gran steering him to and fro when needed. But this story turned out to be a perfect age-gap and compatibility romance with a surprise every step along the way--but each surprise was subtly forecast. When they came to be, author Ryecart gave us a great deal to ponder, both heart warming and heart breaking, until we wind up with a HEA that keeps us smiling.

Lovely Story
I love age gap romance, this is a gorgeous read. Both men have their fears and pain, one came the village to get away from London and the pain of a break up, the other has grown tired of village life and the fast spreading gossip mill. But then feelings get in the way. A lovely but sometimes angsty, moving story, these two men are wonderful characters and some of the village population are at times helpful and sometimes troublesome, Gran is absolutely hilarious.

A wonderful love story
This book was great from the beginning to the fantastic ending. I really love stories that take place in England as they have a different way of saying things. If you pick up this book you will enjoy it.

Well Done Romance
A well written storyline, supported by good character development and supporting cast. Low angst and written without resorting to any cheap theatrics. Ends on a promise for a HEA.
