the best for glass cutting

Bought these to increase my chances of cutting glass for picture frames. I was making four 16x20 cuts and figured they would help get straight cuts. What I found was that I just needed to improve my technique. The start of the score for me is the most critical and once I got that down after several practice cuts, the method of putting a dowel under the score and then putting firm even pressure on the scrap side to make the break was all it took to get consistent straight cuts. These tools might come in handy for other applications when working with smaller pieces. They otherwise seem to be made well enough and will probably out last me.

Works great. Only improvement could be a center line scribed on the breaking pliers to help centering on your mark. Otherwise perfect.

These glass working tool are a great addition to my workshop. They make glass cutting so much easier and at a very reasonable price for good quality tools.

DIY-selfer Re-purposed divided glass cabinet doors with 4”x4” glass panes needed replacing. While the purchased did not come with instructions, online videos more than made of that shortcoming. Tools are well made and should last a very long time!

I had bought these to replace my cheapo pliers I had been using for a long time and struggling with to get clean breaks. These are a GAME CHANGER. Perfect break every. single. time. Between these tools and videos, I managed to figure out how to cut glass. I loved these as it made it a lot easier. Would have been extra nice to have some directions on their use but there is lots of info on the web.
