24 Rolls Washi Tape Set - 8mm Wide Decorative Masking Tape,Festival Gift Wrapping Party Supplies

While I don't hate this product, images in the post are MUCH larger than real life and also much more vibrant in color. Like I said... don't hate it, but different than expected.

I like my 24 rolls of 5mm washi tape. They're pretty, & they stick well, so I'm pleased. What I'm not pleased with is the promise of "22 bonus rolls as our free gift to you!" These extra rolls helped entice me to buy from this seller instead of another, and yet the so-called bonus rolls are really the waste rolls that exist between the actual rolls of washi tape. It's as if many 5mm colors are wrapped side-by-side around the cardboard tube, and the cuts to separate these 5mm ones are themselves separated by a few mm--so what you end up with is teeny rolls that are essentially scrap b/c each one incorporates both colors that were on either side. So, buy, or don't, based on the 24 main rolls alone; the "free gift!" is really unusable b/c of thinness and overlapping designs.

Received 46 rolls (in two stacks of 23). Half of them are the thin rolls which are slices off the larger rolls. The pattern on them is half of the each of the larger rolls to each side so the thin rolls do not have their own pattern, but are half of the former roll and half of the other roll. That's OK but a little disappointing. Overall, they are easy to use; they aren't overly sticky and tear well. The thickness of the large and the small rolls is good. I just have an issue with the lack of unique patterns for the thin rolls and with getting 46 instead of 48. For the price I paid they are OK.

I love the designs on this washi tape, and it looks like there is plenty of tape on the rolls. I've not used it much yet, but it seems sticky enough.One thing to point out, the free gift, the extra rolls, are the cut ends . . . It looks like the whole order is printed on a single roll, and then cut apart, and the extra rolls are where the larger rolls are cut to size. Most of my smaller rolls are half this design and half that design. I've worked in printing, so I understand it, and my purchase was for the larger rolls, not the free gift, so I don't see it as worth docking any stars for, but just don't count on the little rolls being useable. Some of the split rolls don't look bad and I'll use them, but others will go in the trash. If you're ordering these specifically because you want both sizes, I wouldn't recommend.

While these are absolutely beautiful with dainty & pretty designs on each and every roll, they fall short in terms of actual use. Even with the lightest & most gentle hand, these split/tear every 2-3 centimeters or so. This results in a huge wasted pile of torn pieces of tape all in an effort to simply obtain *one* 3-5 inch piece from a roll. I’d say I was able to retrieve about two 3-inch pieces per roll after all was said and done on average. Even with the surviving pieces from the roll, the adhesion was pretty nonexistent, too! However, I suppose that depends on what you are using these for. Above all else, it was extremely time consuming to constantly have to start from square one every single time the roll would split/tear in the middle of attempting to obtain a piece. So frustrating! Stick with Scotch—albeit much more expensive—they rarely split (if ever) and actually stick (as a product called “tape” is expected to).

The prints are pretty. However, they are not cut between the prints, they are cut with over lap. This rips more down the middle instead of being able to pull a piece off. Difficult to work with. VERY POOR QUALITY.

Mine came with both the tape, and the end cuts, the very narrow strip rolls left over when they trim it. That is an added value for the dollar as the trim pieces can fit in narrow spots. I love this tape. It sticks really well. I would not advise it for artists who want tape that pulls up or a person who likes to relocate things. Sometimes it sticks so well that I can't pull it up without risking paper. If you intend to lay it down and leave it, it will stay put. Would highly recommend for journals and scrapbooking.
