Melon Seeds Korean 2pack

Looked like almost all seed germinated into very healthy vines. I have it grow up a trellis and getting an abundant of fruit which tastes great. I cut back bottom leaves and any extra throughout to get good airflow. Highly recommend. And great price on the seeds.

The media could not be loaded. My lady is from Korean and has been living in American for a couple of decades, and this is one several things that she misses and they are not really available locally where we live, although the Asian markets will carry them from time to time but the quality is usually lacking. Over the years we have tried to cultivate Korean Melons a few times to very disappointing results, of maybe one or two melons and they never really got very big.This year after giving up for even trying for four or five years I decided to give it another try and ordered some of these seeds. I started four of them inside in March and they all germinated and grew quite well under grow-lights. At the end of April I moved them outside and tragedy struck.. a rabbit decided to eat one of the plants leaving three to try and make their way. They actually stalled for a week or so after the shock of transplanting, and then they took off.I ended up vertically trellising them up the side of my house, most of the plants grew 6' - 8' vines and started producing good sized fruit along them. I do have supplemental watering for the plants that makes sure they are watered every 2 - 3 days instead of only relying on rain. We ended up getting about 5 melons per plant, and they are starting to slow down as we near the end of August (no more flowers showing up). I still have several more melons which are formed and they are almost ready to start turning still on the vine.The two packs come with plenty of seeds, which cover us for a few more years, and they arrived in good shape. After the success of this year will be adding more of them to the garden going forward.

Good seed but had little crop due to weather conditions.

High quality seeds. Seller includes very helpful instruction sheets in Korean and English. I've purchased seeds before from this vendor and they all have sprouted well and produced excellent results.

Not a single seed germinated out of both seed packs.

I'm not sure why this is, but when I ordered these seeds, for some reason I thought shipping would take a while. Not so! I think the seeds showed up on the second day after I ordered them, which I thought was pretty impressive.I ordered these seeds for my kiddo, who loves planning seeds and watching baby plants grow, and my husband, who loves Korean melons. I haven't planted an entire packet, but of the seeds I did plant, I think I have better than 90% germination (in spite of the meddling fingers of a preschooler), and the plants all seem to be health and strong.Overall, a good purchase, and I would recommend to a friend.

We lived in Korea for many years and when we moved back to the States we really wanted to have these Yellow Melons. They are available in most of the Korean markets, but we wanted to try growing them in our back yard. The plants started out a little slow, but once the weather warmed up they took off like weeds! We only had 3 plants, but they produced dozens of very large and sweet melons. We actually started giving some away to friends and neighbors. In comparison to the melons at the markets, ours were both larger and sweeter. We will definitely bee ordering these again in the spring!

The post office called this a weird pkg and found the correct address in the computer, but the tracking label has the wrong address in there somewhere because it kept coming up with the wrong zip code. Still, the other zip code was local, and the post offices exchange pkgs manually, in spite of the incorrect zip, all the time. But this pkg just kept getting sent back instead of going thru that process and it finally just never arrived to this day. The first time I contacted this company, no response. Now with the second try getting the pkg to me and it not making it, they have completely refunded my money so I cannot attest to how good the seeds are, but know that the customer service, when it kicks in, is good.
