Have had less failures involving prints failing to stick. It does add a bit of extra height to the print bed tho. Prints come off easily when bent and cleans off easily.

this is just what the doctor ordered, my old Makerbot replicator is awesome but, a bit of a pain with the old build surface,this spring pei sheet bright this printer into the 21st century!

This came in the right dimensions, looks like a quality enough product. Functionally, it seems great. Good adhesion, prints don't tear off the coating... but... compared to other market leaders that sell larger PEI beds, this one seems like its missing a lot of "texture". There are bare spots between texture and the coating doesn't seem uniform. This does not seem to have affected its functionality, but it was odd to see large spacing between the grain texture.

So for those of you with the qidi I-mates printer, this is the absolute best platform. The platforms that come with the i-mates are absolute garbage. The material is a pain in the ass to remove. This platform adheres well, but is also SUPER easy to remove the print from. Do yourself a favor if you have the i-mates. Buy a set of these and throw away your original platforms. You will thank me later.

The release on this bed is incredible. Parts can be blown off with a light breeze after it cools off. This is also why I am super happy with it, I have issues maintaining a high enough temp to keep prints on the build plate during the print. I am not using an enclosure, and will not be building an enclosure just to use a specific build plate, but my print room stays above 80 degrees fahrenheit.

At just over $80 it's a bit pricey for a PEI plate that is only one sided... but I was having a hard time finding one in stock anywhere else for an Ender 5 Plus (377x370mm)... so I gave this one a try. I got the textured one. So far it's performing great. I've kept the same bed heat setting as I was using with the stock glass plate (60c for PLA) and it's definitely making for better bed adhesion. There are no instructions included, but installation is not rocket science. Clean your alum bed with alcohol, line up the magnet layer, peel off one edge and pull the backing off from underneath while you smooth it out from the top to eliminate any air bubbles. Installation only took a few minutes. A quick re-level and a 99% alcohol wipe-down and I was printing again.
