Great integration with both my PC and my Mac for Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams.
Great integration with both my PC and my Mac for Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams. It seems like a simple concept, just a mute button, but you realize how complex it is for it to actually work as expected cross platform to make sure each app and the button are coordinated for mute. I like that it has color on it, so that it is very clear to me when I am muted and not.

Excellent Product, HIGHLY recommend
This mute button is awesome. It well on all my systems I conference in or take calls in. I work from home and I need a quick way to mute and it does the job. Recommend for anyone who works from home or runs meetings and needs a way to mute their system.

It's amazing! Perfect for work from home situations
I primarily purchased this to 1) make sure that if my kids/spouse need to ask me a question, they know if I'm on mute or not, and 2) so that I know that I'm on mute or not, as sometimes I forget if I am muted/unmuted. For both of these goals, this product has been amazing and works perfectly.I had tried other lights/indicators, and none were as simple to use/set up or as reliable as this one. The software just works, which is fantastic, and it can't be said about other solutions. Honestly, the other solutions I previously tried all overcomplicated it to the point where it became unusable and unreliable. This solution is very simple, easy to use, and has been flawlessly reliable so far. I use it primarily with Zoom, but I also use it with Slack, Teams, Discord, and Skype. All of which have worked perfectly so far without any lag or sync issues.Strongly recommend for anyone who wants to make sure they don't have the accidental hot mic or to have a way for others to see if they can talk to you during your meeting when they barge into your office.

works great but a bit buggy and can be improved
works great. but it is not plug and play. you need the app always on for this to work. once in a while, even i have the app open, it does not pick up so i need to restart the thing. i wish it worked with tablets as i use my ipad more on travel meetings. their cust service replies fast for questions. recommended

Mute Game Changed Forever—No Cap
Real talk—I never thought I needed this. Wasn’t even on my radar. But I copped it, and man, it changed the whole vibe on ZOOM. Just being able to see if you’re muted, live, or off voice? That’s clutch. No more wildin’ out trying to find the mute button like it’s hide-and-seek mid-meeting.If you’re on Zoom all day, locked in at your desk, this right here? It’s a no-brainer. Straight up.

Beware: Required MuteMe app exhibits potential spyware-like behavior
I have been running this button for a couple of months now. I use it with Google Meet and with Zoom, and with both Chrome and Opera browsers. I find it is fairly reliable at delivering consistent functionality across both communications tools and both browsers. Sometimes it has trouble with Google Meet, and requires a couple of mouse clicks on the mute button to get everything working properly. The big issue thought is that the MuteMe app is constantly requesting Windows to share physical location data with the client app, and there is no purpose for that and MuteMe does not provide transparency as to why they need physical location data. No part of muting or unmuting involves geographic location. In Windows's settings, under "Privacy & Security > Location" the MuteMe client is making an extremely high number of requests for physical location data. The logs run back 7 days, and at the time I turned off location access entirely on my machine I was showing 2,712 inquiries for physical location and it was almost entirely MuteMe making these requests. If nothing else, constantly requesting this information is consuming a non-zero number of resources. However, this could also be behavior that could be considered consistent with spyware. I contacted MuteMe about this and their 1st response was:"Are you talking about physical location? We do need the location of different windows in certain cases because we read the mute status but we don't need and don't ask for physical location information with respect to where the devices are located. Can you please send your logs so we can take a look to see what you're talking about."I submitted logs and screenshots, and they disappeared without further response. So, personally I find this deeply concerning and would probably not suggest this product to anyone myself without that being addressed.

Thought it was superfluous but actually pretty useful
In Zoom meetings all day, this actually comes in handy when spacing out and you get called on.

Nice at first but really just clutter now. USB port hog.
Not much more than a novelty. It seemed nice at first but it has just become a clutter on my desk. Doesn't want to work through the dock at all so I have to plug directly into the USB on the laptop. Don't care for giving up a port.
