Size up, at least in length.
My Levi 510's are all 30/30 and after reading reviews that's what I ordered. The waist was snug but they were way too short. Unfortunately, I had to return them. Otherwise, they were nice pants and I really liked the color and the pocket for your phone. I may reorder another size in the future. I had no problems with the return and getting a refund.Update: I liked the color so much that I decided to reorder, and I'm really glad I did. I ordered the 30/32 and this length is a lot better. They're a little long but they fold up nicely and look great. Plus now I have a little extra length in case they shrink. The waist is snug but very comfortable. The fit through the butt and legs in good. I got tons of compliments the very first time I wore them on the fit and especially the color. Think I'm going to have to order more in other colors.

Perfect!
They look amazing! Quality fabric. Just got them in and the fit is perfect. I’ll wear them a month, wash/dry them and will update my review if anything has changed.

My comparison between different dickie styles
I previously purchased a pair of 34x32 and left a review for them. Having several negative issues with my dickies search the first time around I wrote them off as being inconsistent. But dickies has one of the best belt loop systems in my opinion. I love how it’s the exact width of a belt with no wiggle room and on the back side there are 3 belt loops, 7 total on the pants.During this purchase I tried slim taper, slim straight, slim skinny, and back to my original skinny straight. Please know that skinny is a tighter than slim.Slim straight and slim taper were similar. The material seems softer than the skinny straights and way more room from thigh to ankle. Tapered or straight, it was way too loose for my taste as I like a Levi’s 511/slim jean look. The grey color with the “slim” styles were a lighter shade of grey and the charcoal with the skinny straights is much darker.Slim skinny was nice but only available in black. I’d say this was the closest to a Levi’s 511. A fitted thigh and a quick taper to the ankle. A “skinny Jean” that’s comfortable and not too tight. Because it was only available in black, even though I love black jeans, I wanted grey and other colors. The skinny straight won as being the only pair out of the ones I tried that had a slim/skinny leg opening. Aside from the slim skinny pants, the skinny straight would be the only pair of pants dickies makes I would call slim, skinny, or tapered. Here’s what I did. Size up when purchasing dickies. I wear 34” in other jeans like Levi, Denizen, Good Fellow. But in dickies, sizing up on my most recent pair fit perfect. These say flex but they do not flex. Nothing remotely close to a spandex/stretchy material. When they talk about flex, they could be referring to the fact that the pants start out a bit tighter and stiffer but slightly loosen and soften over the course of wearing it until they are washed. Then it snugs up again until worn for a few hours.I’m extremely happy this time around with my purchase. I gave them 4 stars because the search for the pants was very difficult. Here’s what you need to remember. Size up, know they will get a tad looser in both the leg and waist. If you like a slim or skinny fit, these are the only dickies I would put into that category with the exception of maybe the slim skinny.Update 2 months later: I wear these all day, everyday. They usually get washed once a week. Work and weekends I’ve been testing this pair out. Today I was sitting. While I was sitting I leaned over to grab something and the right leg ripped. As these pants wear, they get a little lighter in color. You can see the area where my thighs rub isn’t as dark as the area around it. The same thing happened with my cell phone and created a permanent outline.

Order a size up for shrinkage
I'm about 5'8" and only ~130lb or so, I'm pretty small and skinny, which is why I finally decided to go with skinny fit pants; they'll actually fit me!I ordered the same size I have in other baggier work pants and straight fit jeans first, and they shrunk in the wash a bit too much for my liking. If they were baggier straight fit pants I don't think it would have been as much of a problem, but since these are skinny fit to begin with the change is noticeable. For reference my other pants are 32x30 both for jeans and work pants. I ordered 32x30 in these Dickies and they shrunk both in the waist, width and length of the legs too much. So I returned them and ordered a 33x32 and they fit way better for me after a wash and shrinkage. One immediate criticism I have is the belt loops being slightly undersized. Don't get me wrong, MOST belts will fit just fine in them. But I have a double thick belt that's 1.5" wide and it is tightly squeezed in the loops. I have never had any jeans or other pants where it was this tight of a fit with this exact belt, even being as big as it is.All this said so far I'm loving the pants, they're my first run at slim/skinny fit pants, which I probably should have done sooner being the size that I am. I only just got them so the question of longevity I won't be able to answer, but compared to other pants on the market these are cheap enough I don't really expect them to last as long as work pants twice the price. Hopefully they last for years, I won't bang 'em up too much.

Best work pants I've found!
My husband is 6 feet tall and has a thin muscular build. Finding work attire for him can be a disaster due to his job. He installs satellites, which requires him to climb ladders, crawl across hot roofs, climb under houses and bury cable lines. And he has to do this all while dressed professionally but also comfortably. This particular pair of Dickies hits every need. They're comfortable, he can actually bend and move without any restriction to his movements, without any discomfort to his groin area (some pants are way too tight in that area). He says the fabric is light enough that his skin can breathe but they're thick enough that he isn't ripping holes in the knees or back pockets due to carrying tools around. Of the 6 different brands of pants I've purchased for him, this pair of Dickies has outlasted them all and he requested I only buy this style from now on. Despite being slim cut, the pants still cover the top of his heavy steel toed boots, an issue we've had with other slim fit styles. As the person doing his laundry, I've found these pants extremely easy to keep clean despite the type of stains he gets on them.Hands down, great pants for tall, slim guys. If you're really muscular or heavy these may be too snug for you but for someone who's thin, I think these will be a perfect pair of pants. They're a great price and a great quality.

Dickies no defrauda.
