Contacting this vendor and Aquacomputer was a waste of time.
I'll keep it short. You're wasting your time if you run into a problem with the pump and you're robbed of a hundred bucks. After a week of email exchanging (all while unable to use my computer) with both this vendor and the manufacturer, their conclusion was for me to clean and fix it myself because they didn't like my coolant. It worked for four days, then the pump would not start up properly.I contacted the manufacturer first. They responded the next day to contact the vendor.I contacted the vendor. They told me to make a video to prove my issue and to take the emails to them directly instead of through Amazon. I suspiciously believe they're trying to take Amazon out of the picture.I sent them the video and included CPU & GPU 80+ C idle temperatures, a fan airflow test, and proof of no waterflow. I noted that making this video is putting my most expensive components in danger by extreme temperatures.Next day, they emailed the manufacturer. The day after, the manufacturer said they don't like pastel coolants.I responded with the brand and product info of the XSPC EC6 water coolant used.A week after, they tell me to clean it and fix it myself, and mentioned that it most likely had an issue with the bearing and if it was true, then I'm screwed.

Perfect D5!
D5 pumps are legendary! This Aquacomputer D5 is one of the very few that follow the Intel PWM standard and as such is perfect! For years I had a Swiftech D5 and I was unable to control it via Aquaero 6 because the PWM was not standard!

Died in less than 3 months
Have been building watercooled pc's for the better part of a decade. Bought this for compatibility with the aquaero 6 lt. Worked as expect for about 10 weeks before I started hearing a faint "zzzt" every so often from my pc. Isolated it to the pump and with some quick research discovered it was most likely a faulty bearing. Bought a replacement EK D5 pump (also compatible with the aquearo 6 lt) just in time for the pump to finally die shortly after. It's worth noting this was the second pump I had received, as the first was obviously a return (but in seemingly new condition), but also turned out to be DOA.Overall just disappointed in aquacomputers quality control.

You cant go wrong with this pump...
if you have a picky motherboard, like any asus mb ,this pump will work with the onboard fan control because it is the only pump to use intel pwm specs..i am running 2 of these and they are quite and dependable.

This is not good! had I knew the wires were not sleeved ...
I don't know why they would show the wires as being sleeved, but the ugly multi color wires are not sleeved. This is not good! had I knew the wires were not sleeved I would not have bought it.

Dead in 2 years.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I wanted a pump with pwm. I originally bought a thermal take kit in 2012. The pump still works, I know this because I had to put it back in when this one died.As you can see I bought this one October 1 2019. It lasted 2 years 3 months and give or take a few days. It was on minimum power for most of that time.As you can hear in the video, the bearing failed. It's had a vibration between 40% and 80% for a few weeks. When it first appeared I took my loop apart.I was pleasantly surprised to find no corrosion on the water blocks. I still took a tooth brush and cleaned the jets and the microfins to be sure.Basically I did a very deep cleaning. Including replacing the old primochill tubing with new clear. I ran a full primochill cleaning using sysprep for 24hrs. After running a couple of gallons of distilled water through it, I refilled it with liquid utopia and distilled water. The vibration mostly went away for a few days. It still rumbled a little at around 50% power. I avoided that band as much as possible by setting the fan curve to jump from 20-80%. When the vibration started happening even at the lowest/idle setting, I decided to swap in a spare rotor from identical pump I had for another project. That bought me about 3 maybe 4 months. Last night it started making a horrible screeching noise and stopped spinning before I could get my computer shutdown. Fortunately, I was just drawing my new distro plate in fusion 360 so the system was under a light load and I got it shut down before it got too hot.
