It was relatively easy to build once a replacement part came that had been damaged in transit. Unfortunately the back wall for the meeting coup was also missing but at this point it was easier to have the back wall made that wait for a replacement part.There is no roosting bars or room for roosting bars! We have had to make the front door obsolete to make them up and there is no way of closing then in the roosting box so need to make a door as well. No don't feel this is good value for money, it's cheaply made with flimsy materials. I am really disappointed with this alleged hen house!

This thing is FLIMSY... once it is all put together, there are gaps for the door, roof, and coop areas. The wood is REALLY cheap and lightweight wood, almost feels like rough-cut balsa. Had to get new door latches just so the door would stay closed without big gaps from the warped wood. The top barely fits and is warped as well. The removal tray doesn't really align well, and you really need to be paying close attention because it is touchy to get back in correctly. Overall not nearly worth the money that you pay for. You could make a better and larger coop and run by going to your local hardware store and buying the materials yourself. We settled for this because we were too short on time to build one ourselves... that mistake won't happen again

I bought this coop to house a gosling I’d found on a trail then sold it to a woman who now houses her 3 chickens. In the time I had it I loved it. Easy to clean and good money for the product. I just wish it came with instruction and packaged a little better. When it arrive there was some damage but nothing a few screw couldn’t fix. I used to work for Amazon though and I know how they treat there packages so I’m not complaining. The frame work is definitely good enough to build upon and make this coop unique to your chicken. Idk I like this coop…

Wood components are poorly stapled together. Frames are cracked and staples completely missed the wood. I had to re-staple all the joints. One long section of a channeled piece wood roof edge was badly bowed and warped. The instructions are poorly illustrated. Some screws are too short. Only my own tools, screws and woodworking knowledge saved this project to completion. Made in China. Poor quality control.
