Mandarin Chinese Characters (Collins Easy Learning)

It helps explain the content of the characters, rather than just simply memorizing, so it makes learning new characters very easy. I wish it had more than 250 characters. But make sure you know pin yin and the tones before buying, since there is not any audio, you don’t want to read them incorrectly.

Arrived pretty quick and in perfect condition. This book is great for learning all kinds of different Chinese characters and teaches you how to write them with steps included. I think this is a great book, especially when paired with a textbook to overall get a better learning experience.

Bought this as an exercise book to learn character stroke orders along side my HSK-1 textbook. However, when looking up a character to practice in the index, I noticed several of the characters that were on the HSK-1 list were not in the book after looking through every section of the index to try and find them several times.If you're just learning Mandarin for fun or don't particular care about following the format for the HSK, then this should be a good book to help practice character stroke order. Otherwise, if you are following the HSK format, look elsewhere or look into a Tian Zi Ge notebook and finding a list of the characters for each level to practice from.

I guess this book wasn't exactly what I thought. It's Only for practicing Chinese "strokes". Up, Down, etc.I would have liked where, how and when to use the Symbols, not so much the Strokes.

Really good book for practice writing mandarin characters. I picked up some new vocab too. I’m a beginner, two months into learning, and this was super for me.

Está muy bien el libro, ideal para empezar a estudiar a mayor profundidad el idioma.

Bought for my grandson who is learning this language in school. He found it a helpful addition for his studies.

I like the book . I have combined the book with audio tracks from an app and it works fine .Good book .
