I wiped down a new refrigerator with a cleaning product that caused the surface to rust. The appliance probably does not have a quality finish in the first place. I bought this hoping for great results, but it was just ok. It did help some, but if the surface has little pits, it of course does not solve the problem. The rust causes a void, and there is probably not a product that could fix that. Again, it did diminish the rust spots to some degree, but don't expect a miracle.

A couple years ago, my grill developed some rust spots. I tried several cleaners to get rid of them and nothing helped. I ordered this and it helped make my grill look so much better (it does take a little elbow grease and I’ll likely do a second application to try to fully remove the spots but it worked well my from perspective).

This they are steel cleaner really works well. Really surprise me. I never thought I'd find something that works this way great

My stainless steal grill had rust, oxidation stains. I tried white vinegar and baking soda (joke!). This product worked with the following steps:I mixed the rust cleaner with baking soda (50/50) to thicken it so it would stay on the surfaces.I let sit for 5-10 mins. I scrubbed it off with a rough sponge (almost brillo like but not as scratchy).After rinsing - I used a stainless cleaner/polish.Most of the rust came off and I am quite happy! We rescued this fridge that was very beat up on the outside but great on the inside. I didn’t get a picture with the rust, but this was the only thing that helped get rid of it. I tried several different at home remedies, but the winner was this stuff plus a drywall sponge (scrubbing with the grain). I would be careful using the drywall sponge if you have a fridge with less scuffs, but for our purposes we needed it. I followed with some stainless steel cleaner spray and it looks so much better.Still not perfect but way better than where we started.
