It was a pretty straightforward install and the instructions were decent especially considering the price point. Our main problem is that we had to spend many hours dialing in the settings for each rep to make sure it was picking up the recording and ending at the right times. It still isn't perfect and sometimes merges calls together but that is better than cutting out important pieces of a call or breaking calls up too often. We much prefer the skype recording software on our computer headsets as it knows exactly when to connect and disconnect and works every time with no setup.

Poor documentation and software. It works but is tedious to use.

Works OK but can't match the audio quality of something like a Marantz PDM-221 for example. One of the "supplied" connectors was missing so when it arrives check to see that everything is there. Was easy to connect and get up and running, the software loaded quickly and without issue, and the audio level adjust is a nice touch. Just wish the audio quality was better (sounds distorted regardless of the phone type and level setting used - same issue on more than one computer too). Gave it a 2 out of 5 because of the missing part and overall audio quality - otherwise would have been much higher.

This version of the Personal Logger was simple to set up and works as advertised. I have been using an older version of the logggers since 2006, and they are still functioning in 2015. The products from this company are affordable, and durable. I would suggest checking DLI for your call recording needs.

Worked amazing on DSL line home line. Sometimes it was staticky for no reason.

Does not provide voice activation for incoming phone calls.

On the recording side, quality is good. On the user side (software) . . . should have been easy to use. It wasn't. User instructions not written in "Dummy" style. Needs better manual. Will be a good piece of equipment once you get it all figured out.

Works exactly as I expected to. Easy setup, runs in the background, easy file system. Just perfect.
