Trees: From Root to Leaf – A Financial Times Book of the Year

Wonderful book
This book is just so different from any other ‘tree’ book which tend to delve more deeply into particular species and can be quite technical. This book is for all tree lovers, telling you everything you want to know about trees, their uses, lifecycles etc and so much more. For non tree-lovers it’s a marvellous coffee table which can be dipped in and out of. A recommended read.

Carl Sagan once said: "How lovely trees are". Finishing this book reminded me of just that.
Do you ever wonder where Maple Syrup comes from? What about the Cork cap on wine bottles? Did you know that it's all sustainable? Did you know that one tree even bleeds?! Ya- well- there ya go. I was shocked. I was even like- wait wait WAIT- there's MORE than one species of oak??? This book is full of mad facts and wonderful illustrations and some really informative data.Smith's Trees is a total Trip Bruh

Beautiful book shame about the delivery .
The book is great, however the package was just dumped on my doorstep for anyone to see and perhaps pinch. No attempt was made to knock on my door, I would of heard. Luckily it wasn’t racing or even snowing.
