It is pre-cut and anatomically shaped for correct placement and to not irritate the sensitive area above the hoof. They have a high grade adhesive that can be used overnight. Not intended for turnout. Intended for single use. One size fits all. Instructions for Use: 1. Clean and dry hoof 2. Apply hoof packing or poultice to sole of hoof 3. Apply wad of practical cotton 4. Peel backing from straight edge of HoofTape 5. Stick straight edge of HoofTape to heel of shoe 6. Grasp the peeled backing and pull backing completely off until show is covered 7. Press edges to wall of the hoof

Review: Tls - Seems to work well for his laminitis, in this last heavy rain came off immediately. So not good for wet, apparently the glue desolved and came off.

**Q: whats the difference this 02008 and 02010 model?**
A: It is the same exact product.  The only difference in model number is how many pairs come in a package.  The product is one size fits all so will work the same.  Hope this helps!

**Q: Could this tape be used for barefoot horse**
A: I used this to help secure a poultice for a Sole injury.  I used duct tape around the edges of it to secure it to the hoof.  These were perfect for what I needed to use them for. I keep these on hand in my first aid kit. My horse is shod. Not sure if this is helpful to answer your question?

**Q: should the hoof wrap be cut to size?**
A: I did not cut them. I wrapped it around the hoof like in the diagram. I also wrapped it with duct tape

I have a gelding who needed to be wrapped for months following a very deep abscess that had to be surgically opened. Going through oodles of duct tape and elastikon, I was seeking a better solution. This is definitely handy and easy to use, lasting throughout the day for turnout, but not longer. Definitely pricey per piece, but I would keep some around for future emergencies for the ease of use.
