Fly Guy Phonics Boxed Set

I bought my grandson this set for Christmas and it is now time for his birthday and I am buying more. He will be 6 years old and he is into fly Guy. He will be 6 years old and he is into fly Guy.

Our son is in first grade and they are starting to teach long vs short vowels. We have tried explaining this during homework however he has ADHD and shuts us out. Reading these for himself has been a game changer!

I really like this. My first grader is delayed in reading because of his previous need for ear tubes. He reads at level “f” without help; he reads these needing help with about 5 words per book. They are more advanced than most phonics series. They are a good choice for K and some 1st graders.

When your having a hard time learning to read it is great to have a fun story that is not about hats or cats for the 100th time. I read the regular print and he sounds out the bold words. It is making practice reading much more fun. The box is sturdy but the books are thin, regardless of the flimsy books, the content is worth the 5 stars.

This blood pressure monitor is probably one of the best on market. I tried many of them, but tis is has best precision. The measure is very close to manual measure.

These books are okay. While the words with the targeted spelling pattern are in bold, the rest of the book is too high of a reading level for students working on mastering their short vowel sounds.

I agree with other posts that they are so close to the original books, and NOT an easier version. The up side is...if you don't already own a bunch a fly guys this is a cheaper way to include the series in you at home book collection.

This is a great set of books for young readers. My son loves fly guy so I purchased these as an affordable alternative to the larger books. They are essentially shortened fly guy books with highlighted words to aid beginner readers with phonics. My son and I love these books.
