Fits, opens, and closes like the original clear shield that came with my RF-1400. I don’t hear any air leaks. It darkens nicely in bright light and returns to clear in the dark.

Fit is just like oem and great when I don’t want to always have clear glasses on hand or if the weather is shifting quickly. I also don’t like a complete ‘fishbowl’ look. Might as well buy 2 more cause it’s like getting 3 for 1 special compared to shoei prices.No issues with swapping shields frequently. Seems to be similarly scratch resistant like oem.I typically hold out until dangerous levels of visible damage due to shoei prices, but I will be hostage no more to damaged windscreens!Only downside is if you wait till the absolute last minute like i did, only certain options were on prime, but I got lucky. Happy riding.

It does get dark but not as dark as oem. Difference would be, on oem i would not be able to see my eyes from my 360 cam on a sunny day. With this i could still see them. It fits my shoei rf1400 just fine. Even oem pin lock fits. For the price of $88 vs oem $230 i can’t really complain too much

I think I wrote a negative review earlier and I have to correct myself because it was fogging up because I did not install an anti-fog screen and it wasn’t changing color because the sun wasn’t bright enough so my apologies. I tried finding it to take it down or respond to my own review, but I could not so hopefully this will retract or counterbalance my bad review.

this obviously will have fitment issues. its harder to clip onto the shoei rf1400 helmet. took me 3 to 4 tries. it doesnt close as tight so you have to make sure the button in middle clips. pinlock does fit. it just needs to be perfectly adjusted so it sits flush onto it. its orange color when looking out. i guess its okay.the real test is if this actually is shatter proof. i think ill test it maybe when i choose to pick up a genuine one. maybe make a video to show if these are really worth the $30 to $40 bucks saving.5/7/2023definitely has a lot of wind noise. oem one fits more snug and less wind noise.if you wear ear plugs, its not a deal breaker. the yellow visibility tint on this is really good after awhile. you get use to it. overall its 3 stars because if it doesn’t fit well its dangerous.

I've owned every model shoei since the rf-1000 models in the mid to late 2000s. This visor fits flawlessly on my rf-1400. I went with the mirror and don't listen to others saying its challenging to install with the darker, colored visors because you can'tsee through them. Just turn the helmet so you're looking down the release line with the clip, hold the release and pop in. Give it a little tap to make sure they all pop in then release the clip. Takes about 30 whole seconds to install. We'll see how the visor holds up over time but for the price even if I get a summer out of it I'm happy. Highly recommended if you have an rf-1400.

Very surprised by the fit / quality of this visor. I was seconds away from paying $240 for Shoei visor but decided to give this one a try considering it was less than half the cost - it was a great decision.The fit is not 100% perfect but its very close. The transition tech works great, that was the only reason I purchased it. I leave early for work when its dark and sunny on the way home, couldnt stand wearing sunglasses under my helmet anymore and this is the perfect solution.Great product, would definitely purchase again.

The visor does not tint at all in the sunlight. It remains perfectly clear .... unless they sent me the wrong one.

Mサイズに取り付けましたが、純正品よりやや大きいようで、上部に若干のすき間(浮き)が見受けられました。また、サイズが合わないせいか開閉動作も固く扱いづらいです。走行はしていないため実際の使用感は不明ですが、雨水の侵入につながったら嫌なので返品させていただきました。

Great visor! Don’t need spend more 100$ to get the same product. Highly recommend
