Neodrain 36" Brushed Linear Shower Drain,2-in-1 Flat& Tile Insert Cover

We purchased this drain because up a remodel on the bathroom. With the tile side up it is gorgeous in the shower pan and the Stainless side up is classic. Don't lose the plastic clips on the insert, you will need those clipped in to support the insert in the drain. The drain comes with strainer and a threaded flange. The strainer is a good idea to hold onto. The threaded flange I could not find anything it fits into. Please purchase the Neodrain 2-Inch PVC Sub Drain, this is what will fit into the connecting drain pipe. You will need to lubricate the drain flange (liquid soap) to fit it onto the sub drain, it is a super tight fit. Drain gauge specs: Drain grate thickness: 18 Gauge(1.2mm) Drain channel thickness: 14 Gauge(1.5mm). These are better specs than some of the others offered on the web, the 12 gauge drains I found run $$$$. If you follow the installation guide it goes in fairly easy, and the levelers are useful.

The pan was a little bent and the top was damaged under the protective wrapper from factory. To late to return due to already installed. How would i get itout of the cement and tile. Unhappy customers so I just bought another one to replace the damaged top from factory. No option to return it or replace it now that it's past the date bu 2 days. Beware

Unfortunately our plumber said this was to narrow for the shower floor that was specifically made for us. Hated to return it. I'll keep this on his brain for next remodel.

I bought this drain because I wanted a smooth transition and used the side that you actually place the tiles on. I have had it 2 months and it’s been a great buy. I really like the look and functionality. I read a review that stated you needed to purchase an added part, but that wasn’t the case everything you need comes with it. I recommend.
