As it says on the label, a good afternoon tea
I've got a few bags of tea from this company before and they haven't disapointed me yet..The tea is of a good quality and a blend of darker and lighter roasted leaves and because they are ceylon ( Sri Lanka) they have a lovely natural subtle sweet freshness to them. This makes for a lovely afternoon cup to perk you up again.I brew this using 1/2 to 1 teaspoon in a 2 cup pot and let it soak for a few minutes. Then serve as is. There's no need to add milk as it has a subtle sweet flavour. If you do add sweetner you'll probably loose the flavour. I recommend trying without milk or sweetner 1st then add to taste. You may want to add more tea to the pot to make it stronger to.This is not a breakfast tea, it's more of a refreshing pick me up, rather than being hit by a bus of caffeine. The bag itself has been packaged in eco conscience packaging that can be recyled if that concerns you. It's also vegan friendly and They also have certified that the tea is grown in a sustainable manner.Value wise at £4.99 for a 150g pouch this is reasonably priced tea. I have been moving away from more premium brands that are charging double this amount for about the same quality.Highly recommended

Nice laid back tea
Ok let's get the obvious out the way which has been repeated a dozen times...large leaves...sealable pouch...exp date dec 25.This is called afternoon tea for a reason....it's on the mild side...'laid back'....as opposed to something like morning tea which is stronger to wake you up. It's a hard one for me as a drinker of the stronger Yorkshire tea as I like my kick from a cuppa. This tea is more suited to those who like a mild relaxed tea to enjoy for it's flavour instead of strength....& perhaps enjoyed best if you don't use milk. I brewed this in a standard mug using an infuser the same size as the mug therefore the leaves had room to brew.....I used TWO teaspoons of leaves in the one cup & left for five minutes....added sugar/milk...(as I like it)....despite using two teaspoons...the tea came out looking milky...& it lacked the strength I'm used to..(hence afternoon tea). However....it WAS a very nice tasting cuppa. Can't fault it on that.I don't think you will be disappointed if you like your teas 'light'.....for me....if I find my milk has gone off & have to drink black....I'll resort to this instead of my usual tea as that doesn't taste too great without milk...whearas this'll be a more pleasant experience & taste.

Good quality tea but takes good few mins to brew
I used tea spoon of the leafy tea in my infuser and poured boiling water over it. It took good 3-4 minutes to get darker colour, the way I like. But even after the waiting time the colour of the tea wasn't as dark as usually. Maybe it's up to type of the tea or maybe I just shpuld put a bit more in tea diffuser. Tea tastes nice, as expected. Plain taste of the tea without any additions. This sachet of 150g will last us for few weeks as we drink all sort of teas, usually with cardamom :)Tea is good value for money and after brewing I could see that the tea leaves are quite big in size so it's good quality.

Premium English Afternoon Tea
I love drinking loose tea. Watching them expanding and floating in the mug satisfies me. This black tea is rich in flavour. I love the aroma left in my mouth. It is a great companion with scones and a piecce of cake, re-energizing me through the lazy afternoon. I dont like strong tea. Unlike tea bag, I can control the amount of tea leaves I brew in the pot or mug. You can always add a bit more if it is too weak. Highly recommend it! A little goes a long way.

Nice, but quite expensive.
Very nice afternoon tea. The flavour is quite mild and not as strong as some other teas, which is great as an afternoon tea to relax you before the end of a working day. The flavour was quite impressive, because it was fragrant and smelled very nice, even though the taste was quite mild. I brewed this lightly to get a true grip of "afternoon" tea and it was great, as it suited my taste. With or without milk is down to personal taste, and I enjoyed both, but I think I prefer with like a regular cup of tea.Avoid using boiling water to keep the flavours intact, and after brewing for a short while, a nice cup of tea is ready to be enjoyed.Ceylon tea leaves, which is very nice, as Ceylon tea is known to be very good, and this doesn't disappoint.£4.99 for 150g at the time of writing is quite expensive compared to other teas from established brands, so value doesn't seem that great. It's not the most expensive and considering the origin, it's a step up from other loose tea leaves, but also a step up in price.

Lovely refreshing loose-leaf tea
This is a lovely loose-leaf tea, ideal for the afternoon. It's not as strong as, say, Yorkshire Tea, which appeals to me. I love 'Ceylon' tea, and this is a wonderful version of it.What you get is a large resealable bag of the tea. I am quite impressed with the bag itself, where the bag's seal is very good indeed. I use this in my large cup that has an infuser that fits into it. One teaspoon of the tea, then pour over the freshly boiled water (I let it cool for a few moments), and leave to brew for about 4 minutes. The colour is a lovely deep colour (not too deep!), and the flavour is fulsome and rounded -- breakfast tea I find too punchy.I love the tea, and this seems great value. This is my go-to afternoon tea.

Lovely cup of tea
Lovely english breakfast tea, loose leaves that brew nicely. Very fragrant and delicious, i drink my tea black so can be topped up with hot water several times, personally I find black tea tastes better weakened after a couple of top ups.Very expensive though at £5.99 for 150g, working out at just under £40 per kilo which is double compared to a well known tea brand. This is a pleasant tea and perfectly giftable with the london themed pouch but wouldn’t buy again due to the price and I prefer my usual brand.
