ResMed Universal Headgear for Various Mask, Standard

I've been using a ResMed Mirage Quattro FM for over 11 years w/ResMed headgear. The universal replacement sold by CPAPXchange was delivered in the original new packaging and received within a few days. It's definitely a Resmed product and the standard size is essentially (within tolerance) a medium size if you compare to the factory headgear that ships with the mask as a full unit. I've attached two pictures to show you what I received.The quality of the headgear appears to be very similar to the factory shipped headgear and the price was nearly $10 less per unit compared to authorized retailers on the Web. I have only been using the headgear for a few days but I'm happy with the build quality especially for the price. I hope it last 3+ months but only time will tell. I will say that it's better to set the size of the headgear on your head and use the clips to attach/detach the mask as opposed to constantly opening and closing the Velcro straps. I find it gives me another month or two worth of life.Lastly, I have purchased my fair share of ResMed headgear "alternate replacement brands", and the one thing I find in common with all the "alternate brands" is the poor quality of the product. In every case, the glue that keeps the strap fabric attached to the flexible foam core always comes detached after a few weeks of use. Some have lasted as little as two weeks. Don't settle for anything other than authentic ResMed product. Even if it's not as good as the factory version that ships for the specific ResMed mask - remember that this is a universal gear meant to fit several ResMed masks - it's better than the alternate brand.I hope this review will help others.This universal headgear, like all replacements, does not come with the plastic clips that you get with the full mask unit. the clips last for years and I simply save mine for continued use. If you don't have the clips, you'll need to pick them up as well.

I am using "Mirage Quattro" for around 5 years. This is the first time to change the headgear, it is well worn-out, one of verclo almost does not stick, so I went Amazon and found this - same look as what I have. But I received "Standard" size, while the picture shows "Medium" size. As others pointed out the bag shows it is for Nasal Mask but mine is Full Face Mask. I checked other online shop sites and it seems Medium = Standard, Part #16117 which is good for Mirage Quattro. So I opened the bag and compared the dimensions. My old one is stretched and worn out, so counting that, I can say the two are identical size. They have the same materials, too (thickness, feel). I then set it to my mask, and wearing it - PERFECT fit! Other online shop price @ $31, so this is a bargain. I am ordering one more for spare. Thank you for the great price!

The manufacturer says Made by Resmed but I decided to just compare it to other Resmed headgear and they looked like they were the same. I adjusted it to my head and wore it for a week. I readjusted the Velcro straps just once more. Anybody who wears cpap headgear knows it takes several adjustments with the Velcro straps to get it right. I would normally give 5 star for any Resmed product. They are usually top of the line. This was not in my case. After the 2nd week, the polyester felt part of the fabric started coming apart from the inner rubber lining on parts of the headgear and another part of the headgear, all 3 parts of the strap were disintegrating. The outer polyester/felt, the inner rubber lining, and inside polyester/felt lining. Before the middle of the 3rd week, I asked for a replacement since this one must be defective? I wasn’t sure if this was just a manufacturing screwup or if these were really made by Resmed or maybe counterfeit? I did receive the replacement about a week ago and these seem like the real deal, 100% Resmed quality headgear that I’m used to.I will make an update if these start to become defective. So the defective pair I gave 2 stars but the replacement I’m giving 5 stars as long as they hold up.I have had Resmed headgear that has lasted over 2 years with only problem was being stretched out a little and the Velcro doesn’t work as well, otherwise they pretty much last indefinitely so I was really surprised that I received a defective product.But I will update you if my 5 stars rating changes for this product.

It didn't seem to be made for the Resmed mzirage Quattro size Medium mask I bought it for. I eventually gave up trying to make it work and stay sealed, and just ordered from a CPAP supply company to get the original Resmed headgear for the Mirage Quattro Medium mask.I took a risk, cognizant of the poor reviews, because I didn't have another choice at the time. I would not recommend.

Very comfortable, fits well.

This is a comfortable headgear but it stretched out pretty quickly and continually needed to be tightened until I ran out of velcro. I will order a smaller one next time to allow for stretch.

This is the 2nd one i have bought. 1st one worked ok but the 2nd one is crap. Stretched out after one use to the point velcro wont stick. Wont be a 3rd one

Excelente. Llegó en dos días. Lo pedí el sábado y llegó el lunes que era inhábil.Quedó perfecto en mi mascarilla Quattro FX de Resmed.

Muy baja calidad no es la marca que que dice la Foto ya la regrese , espero mi reembolso
