Adjustable waist!
I got the to warm up my walk to work. I'm 33X33 in men's pants and these fit me, although they could stand to be half an inch longer. See pictures below for how the pull tabs allow these pants to be adjusted for big butts. The pockets are zippered, and big enough for hands. See pictures below. There are only two pockets. The elastic that goes over boots is too big for regular boots but might work for things like ski boots. There is also a loop tab on one side in the front. The lining is smooth, making them easy to slip over other pants. I am wearing them over fitted jeans in these pictures.

Solid Ski Pants! Would Buy Again!
These were my first pair of ski/snow pants. I bought them for a trip to Germany, where there was constant snow. See below for a general overview of pros and cons.Pros:- Waterproof: truly waterproof. I tried them out in rain and snow (up to knee-deep) and there was no water damage or leakage of water inside the pants.- Breathable: never sweat in these despite hiking for hours.- Warm: these pants are very well insulated. I did not have to wear thermals under these and my legs were always warm, even in single-digit (Fahrenheit) weather. I sat on ice and blocks of snow and my legs never got cold.- Durable and well-made: I put these pants through rough terrain and non-stop snow exposure. They held up excellent and no evidence of wear and tear.- Very comfortable- Fit very well: I am a little under 5'4" with a 28 waist. Although these pants were a bit wide at the waist, there are elastic velcro bands on the sides that you can tighten to shrink the waist. Despite this, the pants were still a bit wide at the waist but I can't blame the company for that being that I have a 28 waist and there "Small" size fits more like a 30.Cons:- The only issue I had with these was the length. They are a bit long on me, to the point that the bottom backs of the pants scrap the ground even when I'm wearing snow boots. Again I'm a little shy of 5'4" and usually wear a 30-inch short inseam for my regular jeans and dress pants but these seem to be more of a 30-inch long inseam. But these are the shortest snow/ski pants I could find for this price so I'll take it.Overall, I am happy with my purchase. They definitely did the trick in Germany, where there was constant snow. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for reliable, durable, warm, waterproof pants for cold weather.

Skip These Pants. SIZING is GARBAGE.
Skip these pants. The sizing is insane. I'm 6 foot 4, 260 lbs. I wear an XL tall in most things, and have around a 38-40 waist depending on the brand. The XL Tall Pants were nut huggers and I couldn't sit down with them on, even with only a thin pair of running "underarmour leggings on". Ok. Back they go. The XXL size arrives and I could fit Fat Albert in my pants while I'm wearing them, with room to spare.Awful, awful sizing. It's a shame because the pants were warm and if the sizing had worked for me, I would have kept them. Good luck for anyone who's not in a circus with sizing these pants.

These run small, and are not up to Arctix previous quality standards.
I have no idea how anyone can say these fit true to size. They are, at least, a size and a half too small(and we ordered up-as we always do). The quality of the material is questionable, at best. We have used this brand before, quite a lot actually, but it's very clear that materials and workmanship has gone downhill. The large fits more like a skinny medium. The waist itself is almost true to size, but the legs are constructed to be slim, rather than what would amount to a regular or relaxed fit(which is what is typical with snow pants, and what Arctix used to produce). Honestly, I am extremely disappointed with this brand. This is our second pair from Arctix that has shown inferior construction and materials in the last year. They are simply not up to this brand's prior standards. One can only assume this is for cost cutting measures, as they used to be high quality and run true to size. If you're looking for snow pants with the fit of skinny jeans, purchase one size up from your normal size, these should fit. If you're looking for normal non-skinny snow pants, buy another brand, or buy two sizes up. The length is also longer than it should be, however the length was of no concern to us, Arctix length has always been an inch or two longer than typical.
