My dogs loved this bone. They chewed it constantly and traded it back and forth. I have one “aggressive chewer” who actually makes dents on normal bones, and one who chews for hours and makes no obvious dent. The two of them rendered this bone to a one-inch stump within a week and stared angrily when I took it away. They’d recommend, but it didn’t last as long as normal bones, thus the elimination of a star.

I have always been concerned about giving my dogs nylon bones or its variety... like nylabone, benebone... because I just couldn’t accept the fact that dogs would ingest tiny bits of plastic at a time. Plus my dog did not seem to like the last benebone toy we tried because it was too hard to chew with her small baby teeth.Well this product seemed different, as it claims to have been made of (partly) wood. So maybe, I thought, it was more chew-friendly, and that chunks would not fall out to present a choking hazards. Well I was partly correct. The toy was hard, but not hard like nylabone hard. It did not have a “give” but my puppy didn’t have any trouble sinking her teeth in it. The bone also did not splinter or create sharp enough edges to draw blood inside my pooch’s mouth.But my, it got obliterated so fast. My 4lb toy poodle is a semi active chewer and played with this for one hour everyday in the past two weeks (supervised of course). The entire structure of the toy is not compromised, but you can see how jagged it became.Dog clearly likes how the bone smells like some kind of edible thing, as she would play with it even when I didn’t even smear peanut butter in the holes. But the question then was when do I throw this away...Benebone, the manufacturer’s competitor, has a nice website showing when to discard a chew toy like this. Picture attached. So I guess our toy has a bit of life left in it..I think I bought this for like $3. So $3 for three weeks of play, not so bad as long as there’s no health hazards.I would not recommend this to a dog bigger than 10lb.

I have two aggressive chewers and my daughter has two regular chewers lol. All of our dogs and other dogs that have been around them love these bones! I highly recommend them because they are so durable, last forever and they love all of the flavors I've bought. I will never buy another brand again.

We love these bones for our super chewer Labrador. They last a long time, and they really appeal to her. Great product!

My and my roommate's dogs (Lab and Golden) absolutely loved this. I actually didn't realize what the holes were for, so I never flavored it, but my dogs didn't care. They stole it from each other and when it was out, it was the only toy each dog wanted. So I ordered another. However, it barely lasted around a week or so. They were able to chew the ends until the toy was gone. It wasn't very expensive, so I was okay with that, but it's not something I would buy again. And it dissuades me from looking into the other barkbones with the holes because it makes me doubt the sturdiness of similar bones, especially now knowing that the inside is hollow.

These BarkBones had my pups jumping for joy and stealing the package right out of my hands in attempts to get to the bones asap! They have a soft smell that doesn't lead humans away but is still there so the dog enjoys it. The shape is absolutely perfect on these bones, too! It is slightly curved, so the dog doesn't have to tilt it's head around to get to the bone wrapped up in their paws. It is easy for all dogs to love it, from small to large. It's been a few days, and they are STILL carrying it around the house! The bones are cheap, sturdy, and come in many different sizes and flavors. Pet Qwerks is the most efficient and kind shop we know, so that's why I would 100% purchase this bone!

I wasn't sure whether my dogs would like this bone but thanks to the other reviews I figured we ought to give it a shot! There are several dogs in my house, one of which is a 1yo 12lb mutt who has a constant need to chew. He was bringing in large sticks and chunks of mulch from the yard and chewing them up all over the carpet. Cleaning up the splinters and mess was an unwelcome chore so I tossed this in my cart and hoped for the best. Lucky for all of us, it has solved our problems!! It has been weeks since my dog has chewed up any sticks or mulch. Instead he happily chews on this FlavorIt BarkBone. The scent smells more like maple syrup to me than mesquite chicken, but it's not unpleasant. The 3 other dogs in the house are huge fans of this bone as well. It seems to be holding up well to the constant chewing, which makes this a GREAT buy and a toy I will eagerly recommend to anyone with a dog.

I have a nice variety of dogs at home. I have the aggressive chewer, gentle babies, and a biting machine puppy. This is a good chew toy for all of them. I spread peanut butter, Greek yogurt, applesauce, wet pate dog food, and veggie purées on these and then freeze them. They make a good licking treat (since licking promotes calming behaviors) and afterwards the mesquite bbq smell keeps them engaged for some chomp action. Which they don’t actually get far since it’s a harder chew bone toy. These make good crate activities for them without me worrying about choking on broken pieces.

Our Whippet loves these synthetic bones. She gets hours of chewing out of them.

We ordered the 2 of the medium size peanut butter flavour bones for our two dogs. We have a beagle/Jack Russel mix as well as a chiweenie (chihuahua/Weiner dog mix. The chiweenie LOVES to chew everything and adores this bone. If he puts it down and he thinks you're reaching to grab it he runs to get it to keep it away from you 🤣. The beagle mix doesn't usually care for toys but she took this one instantly. With one dog so much smaller than the other I was worried that the smaller one wouldn't be able to pick it up as easily since it's a medium size but the curve of the bone made it easy for him too. 100% would recommend and buy again.

My dog loves this! It quickly became her new favourite chew toy. She had the two ends well chewed up within a few days! She's an aggressive chewer but is young and has a short attention span so I'm happy to find something she enjoys so much. You can change up the flavour by filling the holes with anything spreadable like peanut butter, banana or soft cheese just to name a few ideas.Will purchase again.

My lab has never been a fan of nylabone type bones but thought the flavouring may entice him. He was only interested in it for about 10 minutes when I gave it to him. He’ll occasionally come across it and chew it for 5 minutes or so but he doesn’t seem to love it. The big pro for us though is that he doesn’t chew through it in a matter of hours. He’s a heavy chewer. Has lots of teeth marks in it but no chunks or particles have come off at all. I’m not sure if he can’t chew through it easily or if he chooses not to for some reason. It has held up very well though.
