Stick to storing spices...
I could smell the oregano I stored in it when I opened my cupboard.

Made of durable metal, and the gaskets block smell - does what I bought it to do.
Simple product, simple review - I bought these to block the smell of certain herbs, and it does the job perfectly.

Not air tight
These tins are not airtight, there isnโt an O-ring to make it so. They feel a little on the cheap side. May be cool for very short term storage of like tea or coffee grinds. But I could definitely still smell the contents.

They do what needs to be done?
For how much these cost I can't really give them a higher rating.Space: I've been using them to hold about 19.2 g of beans which is how much I use when pulling an espresso shot but they don't hold much more than that.Seal: they seem airtight enough and I haven't noticed my beans going stale.Quality: overall honestly they do feel a little cheaply made, like the thread to screw the cap on, the lid itself feel rather lackluster for the price.Overall: They do what needs to be done but I don't think they're quite worth the price but it could also be I'm not using them to the potential some of you may find in them.

Can still smell
Used this for some spices hoping it was airtight however I could still smell the spices through the container which to me indicates itโs not airtight.

Well Made Sturdy little containers. Not Airtight
These two containers are cool. I love containers like this and these are solid. I however did notice that there is no real gasket for these. So I had to test the ability to see if what I put in them would stay dry. I did not want to test at any real pressure (like submerged in 20ft of water) so I closed them tight and put them in a mason jar. After 45min I removed, wiped the outside dry and opened. I saw water inside which suggests that if water can get in then air can too. I like them but I will not trust them to be airtight.

Nice but, Airtight when Missing O-ring?
I got these to transport smaller amounts of tea to work without lugging my big ceramic containers back and forth and for this they well enough... But, The picture in the product page shows an O ring included with these. Mine came without O rings and I can't help but question how airtight it is without it. Also, these would benefit from the caps threading on the outside of the container rather than a these bore so that you could make full use of their volume. These are machined quite nicely though and have a nice feel and finish. The caps thread on nice and easy and it feels like decent enough quality. Missing the O rings is a bummer though, as that seems important to claim that it's airtight. Maybe I'm a unique case and they left the factory without them by accident.
