The media could not be loaded. The leather strip is thicker than original. Phots of lighter and longer stop is replacement and darker, shorter is original drawstring after years of use. The leather is stiff and the first week of use shedded from the untreated side rubbing on brass fittings. It has soften and become very pliable. Video and pictures are after a couple months use. Like all bags the coated canvas outlasted the vachetta leather on the Louis handbags. Fits through metal fittings well and the “tan” color is slightly lighter than bag but matches pretty well with the patina on a 25 year old Louis backpack. Like the original one side is smooth and treated and the underside is untreated and rough. Took one lice to fit mm sizes backpack. Easy to cut with scissors and row not fray where the cut was made. Two pieces for such a great price. Great deal and savings. Would buy extra just in case! Highly recommend.

The leather strips I’m replacing on some rattan furniture is 6mm or 1/4” wide and 2mm thick. These strips are about 4mm thick. Too thick for my needs. Everything else about it looks fine.

I needed these leather laces for my riding cut. They were the perfect length and worked perfectly. They are well made and fit the holes really well. My only, of any, complaint would be that one side is shiny and the other isn’t, but you can’t tell.

These are very nicely made and long enough for my purposes. Had trouble finding these longer ones on Etsy.

I used the 1/4” x 1/8” blue leather lace. I think it came out rather nice. You get two 72” long pieces of lace, or yes 144” (12’) of total lace. I used all of the lace I received in the glove you see. I wasted very little but did throw some away. I used a pair of needle nose pliers, scissors, curved hemostats, and a razor blade. I had never done this previously on a full glove. I had a couple of lace experiences needing to do emergency repairs. The new lace was a tad larger than the existing, but I had little trouble relacing the glove, but there were a coupe of real hurdles in the process. Take your time and problem solve those spots and you’ll be fine! When in trouble loosen things in that area and/or undo a spot or two!!!I found the strength of the lace to be very strong! As a someone who considers myself on the stronger side of most people I was not able to stretch or in any way rip the lace and I pulled very hard on the lace.The lace is a nice medium blue almost a royal blue. I highly recommend this lace! I will use again if I ever need to!
