Tastes nice, although a little bit sweet. No digestion side effects, that's what matters for me.

I've bought this protein for years and always been super happy with it. However, they've just changed the formula and it's TERRIBLE now. Tastes very artificial and completely overpowers anything you mix it with. Will not buy again.

For anyone who prefers their protein powder on the sweeter side, this is a great value option that mixes well and tastes great (in my opinion, at least). There's a noticable soy taste (it's soy protein, duh) and the taste of vanilla is apparent but definitely harder to find under the sweetness. It mixes very easily into water or milk/milk replacement of your choice. The powder is fine and doesn't clump much when mixed, the protein content is good, the added B vitamins and minerals are great since I'm on a medication that depletes B12 and my diet isn't terribly varied. More importantly, I'm now eagerly waiting on a restock of the 2.2kg bags of raspberry cheesecake flavour... UPDATE: I did notice before I ordered that there are quite a few people who have issues with clumping and the way I work around clumping with any protein powder is to tap the scoop and "shake" the powder into my glass so that it doesn't go in as a compacted scoop. I find that if it's compacted, it won't be able to absorb the fluid as easily and is more prone to clumping. When I have a scoop of this in a glass of milk with some creatine I shake it into my glass and then stir it gently with a whisk as I'm adding my milk and then whisk it vigorously for about 20 seconds after I'm done to make sure that it's all broken up and dissolved into the milk. Gets me a smooth protein drink every time and helps my morning can of sardines go down a treat :P For applications where a blender is involved, this method is not necessary, but I would still recommend blending for a few minutes and pulsing it a few times for good measure to make sure that all of your ingredients are thoroughly mixed together. I've tried maybe four or five different protein powders over the years but this one has been the best tasting and most consistent one of the bunch.

The small 900g bags are a completely different recipe to the large 2.2kg bags. If you’ve bought the 900g bag to try and like it - DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy the larger bags as it just does not behave anything like the 900g bags. Otherwise I really like the shake - consistency, sweetness are great!

Best tasting protien powder ive had in a long time, 39g of plant protien per serving which is amazing, and its so good mixed with oat Milk. Its smooth and easy to drink so cant complain there either. Only thing that could improve is the packaging , I got the 2.2kg bag and the seal failed within a couple of days , bring back the proper tubs please 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I’ve been using SCI-MX Pro-V Gain regularly and really enjoy it. It tastes great, mixes easily, and contains zero sugar, which fits perfectly with my ketogenic diet. Highly recommended!

Why on earth have you changed the recipe, I have used this for years and now ordered a new one and it does not make good smoothies anymore, it separates and foams up and has a different consistency which is soooooooo annoying. I will now have to seek an alternative and cancel subscription. I should have listened to the other comments regarding this and took a gamble. It did not pay off, shame on you Sci-mix

Urgh, what have you done to this stuff? Used to be great but now thin and artificially sweet. Shame, used to be a great product.
