Great -Blood sugar control/Omega3
I am pre-diabetic. So I minitor my blood sugar regularly. When I started taking 3 Tbsp of this daily, my morning blood sugar was below 100. There is something different about the Salba Chia. I do not know what it is. I make it into a concentrated chia pudding using cashew milk or almond milk. I add Truvia, Splends, cinnamin, nutmeg, a pinch of salt, vanilla extract. I let it sit in the refrigerator in mason jars. I add extra seeds so the gel will be very thiick. When I need a chia smoothie, I pour out a portion of the gel. Then I add more almond milk. It is very filling. I hate salmon. But I need the Omega3 in it to cut down on inflammation. When I heard that chia seeds have more Omega3’s than salmon, I was thrilled. My arthritis pain has definitely improved. I am about to order more.

A great mild breakfast food
With age, my tummy has decided it doesn't like me very much, and this product gives me a nutritious breakfast, that fills me up and is easy on my stomach.I enjoy this best when I soak 2 Tablespoons of the seeds in a cup of water or milk overnight. It forms into a gel by the next morning. If I've soaked it in milk, I add a tablespoon or so of Nestle's Chocolate Quick, and it tastes a little like chocolate tapioca pudding. If I've mixed it with water, I add a bit of Tang the next morning, and it tastes like a fruity-flavored slush. Sometimes, I also add shelled hemp seeds and/or cocoa nibs for a little more nutrition and flavor. When I add these extras, I also run it through the blender so I won't have to "chew" my shake.I also like that this has lots of fiber. It doesn't have much taste on it's own, so it takes on the flavor of whatever I'm mixing it with.

Makes you Loose Weight and Look Younger
Saw these on Dr. OZ, and now Chia seeds seem to be the "IT" diet/health food. Chia seeds are very high in omega-3s anti-oxidants which help turn back signs of aging. Chia seeds also expand in water similar to tapioca but much smaller (think grape seed). The gel around the seeds makes it harder for your body to break down and therefore keeps you fuller longer. There is not taste, so you can literally add these to whatever you want to help you loose weight! I put chia seeds in my morning yogurt because they are also a source of protein which equals energy. I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin "glow", my energy level, and just feeling better. Highly Recommend.

... say that "salba" or "white" chia seeds are way better for you than the regular kind of chia
They say that "salba" or "white" chia seeds are way better for you than the regular kind of chia. But they tell you nutritional advantages over regular chia seeds for a very large quantity of seeds. If you break it down to the standard 1tbsp serving, the differences are subtle. Having said that, this was a very nice bag of chia seeds. The zipper seal is great. I just didn't think the "Salba" part was very impressive.

Salba Chia Whole Seeds
I use these seeds in my protein drinks every day. Since eating whole grain bread with salba seeds as well as putting the seeds in my drinks, my good cholesterol is actually higher. I had tried everything to get a higher reading but nothing worked for me until using the Salba seeds. My entire cholesterol panel is so much better than it had been prior to using the Salba seed. I use my wonderful NutriBullet, and can't tell the tiny seeds are even in the drink. I am also a diabetic, and it has helped lower my blood glucose readings.

Great Nutritional Value - Not an Easy Additive to Food
This product functions as a great supplement to a healthy diet. There is one catch - finding the appropriate meals to make it a part of. When added to a cereal mix with milk, it becomes slimy. When added to oatmeal, product is very noticeable. Look around for suggestions on how to consume. The product does have a taste, is noticeable, and does get stuck in your teeth when consumed. Again, no different than any other potential food additives such as flax seed, but this product is just small enough and hard enough that it is very noticeable when added to any of your foods.

Healthy Life Food
I have been taking Chia seeds for over a year and know that much of the good health I enjoy today is due to the seeds. I cannot give specifics but overall I just have a much healthier body and mind. It has helped my memory, that I know for sure. I am 67 and was starting to experience some signs of memory lapses, not so much now. I also feel it has been wonderful for my skin. I just call this my miracle for a healthy life food.

Takes a long time to gel
This brand was the 1st time I ordered white chia seeds. They didn’t gel nicely like black chia seeds do. I emailed manufacturer and they said it was bc they were fresh. They take a long time to gel. Overnight even.
