Great case
I bought this case for work gear when I’m traveling. It’s solid enough that United Airlines hasn’t busted it up yet and it won’t just pop open and drop gear with rough handling. All I need now is a big photo sticker of Sam Brinton in a circle with a line through it so it doesn’t get stolen and I’ll be set.

Excellent case for the cost
I've probably bought a dozen seahorse cases over the past couple of years. My main things have been cases for hauling audio/visual gear and radios. I think these cases are every bit as good as a pelican but at a fraction of the cost. First one I got was for 2-way radios. I used the pluck foam to make slots for the radios and chargers. I've also picked up some of the smaller cases to house microphones for carry from venue to venue. Most recently I picked up a 920 case with foam to carry a video projector. Just make sure to have all your inside and outside dimensions straight before picking up a case to carry something expensive and fragile like that. You'll want to have PLENTY of room for extra foam.

Good warranty
Update (4-2022):Wheels gave out again and still daily usage.Contacted Seahorse and received replacent kit within couple days FOC under warranty.Very happy with case and customer service.Buy one.----Since March (2021) been using it everyday for work (tools). The wheels finely gave up and sounded like rolling on squares.Contacted Seahorse and service rep replied within few hours to offer wheel replacement kit which arrived just few days later via UPS (I'm on east coast, they'rein Cali).Replacement instructions are avail on their website. First wheel replacement took about 15min, the second wheel less than 5.Very happy with product and customer service and that made in USofA.

Love it!
It's exactly what I hoped for! And I love the color options! Everyone has black or gray but I know it's mine immediately at the airport!

Perfect size- not to small
Wow! -stumbled upon Seahorse while trying to figure out the right case size in a Pelican- tried the 830 and it was a little small & hard to see why one would need a pull handle on such a little case. I returned it and ordered the Pelican 1535 Air ...which was also a bit small but apparently is the right size to fit in carry on. I saw this one and its the perfect size for what I am using it for- tool box/road box. And being available in colors other than black- sold. Lifetime guarantee/warranty and made in America? Say no more! Think I will order another.

Good value
Plastic scuffs easy but it’s a great case for the money and has served me well.

Rugged but quite heavy
Got this as a small checked suite case for travel to warm places. Took it on a 1 month trip to TaiwanPLUS. Rugged, closes securely, as lid opens at top its much easier to use than one with zip around the middle. Wheels are good on gravel etc. ( I dont like spinners ), waterproof. Stands upright very well. Well made strong lifting handles.MINUS. Heavy and inside is smaller that outside due to ribs etc. Tow Handle needs two hands to extend. When I pull it with my right hand my ankle can hit the outside ridges on the case.Overall, as expected. Will now be my small suitcase of choice.
