These are so soft that my husband likes wearing them instead of sweats in the evening! He bought them to wear as a truck driver and loves how soft they are. They aren't overly warm, but do add a nice layer of warmth.Putting chains on and taking them off works up a sweat and these wick the sweat away. He can also ditch his coat as he gets warm and do just fine in most temps. Definitely will buy again!

I love these. They're very light, and yet amazingly warm and durable. They're so thin that I was able to work in an outdoor shop in sub freezing temperatures all day by wearing normal thermal underwear over these thin silk ones and even though I wasn't hiking or using my leg muscles to create heat, my legs were so comfortable it was amazing. My hands really got cold. I wish they made a good silk glove liner that one could stuff in work gloves and socks too. Maybe they do make them. I never thought to look. Anyway, try these and you'll really never want to be without a set.
