Advanced Learner's English - Hindi Dictionary (English and Hindi Edition) Hardcover – January 1, 2006

This is a huge dictionary, well organized and no doubt thorough but rather than taking English words and giving me the Hindi word for it, which is what I expected, it takes English words and transliterates them into the Hindi syllabary, so that a Hindi speaker can learn how to pronounce English words correctly. Even though this isn't what I was hoping for myself, I am impressed enough with the book that I have found the correct version (I hope!) Hindi-English, by the same author and have ordered that.
