This lemon curd arrived securely packaged in a small cardboard box with no issues during shipping.I used it on top of German pancakes (Dutch baby style), and it added the perfect sweet and tart flavor. The consistency was smooth and spread easily, making it simple to scoop right out of the jar. Paired with some blueberries, it made a very simple recipe look and taste like it came from a high quality restaurant!The flavor is well-balanced—not overly sweet, with just the right amount of tang—which made it a great complement to the dish without overpowering it.Overall, this is a high-quality lemon curd that works well for both breakfast and desserts. I will never order a different brand!

This stuff is the nectar of the gods. Great on shortbread cookies or pretzel chips.

If you're on the fence about trying this lemon curd, let me tell you it's worth every penny. I'm on a strict budget, but this jar of lemon curd is worth absolutely worth it. I bought it at first just because I was curious to try "lemon curd". It's delicious and it's a little like if you crossed lemon jelly with sort of lemon custard.It's intensely lemon flavored and tastes like natural lemon.I recently decided to use it as a thin layer in a refrigerator lemon pie. Graham cracker crust, thin layer of this lemon curd, a package of softened cream cheese with about a third of the lemon curd in the jar mixed with a splash of milk for the next layer, and topped with a layer of dream whip according to the package directions. Stuffed it in the freezer for an hour or so and my husband said it was the best lemon dessert he ever had. It took me about 5 mins to make.I know this is popular in the UK but until now I never tried anything like this. It's awesome, and so time saving. If you need lemon flavor this jar of lemon curd is the answer.I can envision using this in my tea, and making cookies that used jelly. Cooking? Definitely if you need a sweet lemon flavor.I tried the jellies from this brand too. Yes they are expensive. But in this case they are all high quality and intensely flavored.

I have been looking at this lemon curd for a long time and finally ordered some. It arrived and I put it away in my pantry until today when I decided I had enough room in my refrigerator and I had some English muffins to toast. The sweet lemon flavor of this lemon curd is simply amazing.I used to make my own lemon curd but this is just as good as homemade without all the work! Everything I've tried from Tiptree has been incredibly delicious. I recommend this highly and will get it again.Even my husband said he loves this lemon curd. It is thick enough to spread on toast or muffins and it is of high quality with a well sealed lid so nothing leaks! I think it tastes even better with some butter on the toasted bread first. I bought this Lemon Curd to make a blueberry lemon sourdough loaf. I spread a thin layer on during lamination. It spreads easily and has a wonderful sweet yet tart flavor. It made my loaf extra special.

This is an excellent quality lemon curd. The one available locally tastes too much like a jam/jelly.I went to an event where they served "high tea". I ended up bring home all the lemon curd that my table did not consume. I have been a tea drinker since i was 8 years old. I absolutely love to settle down with some toast or an english muffin and my lemon curd for a relaxing breakfast.

UPDATE: Changing from 3 stars to 5 stars because I found a great use for this with its high sweetness!.... Mix one 11 oz jar Tiptree Lemon Curd with two smoothly melted 8 oz bricks of cream cheese (16 oz cream cheese total) and pour into 4 to 6 parfait cups (based on size preference) with graham cracker crust (1/1 ratio graham crumb/sugar combined with a bit of melted butter to your ideal consistency) added into bottom of cups (and in a mid layer if desired) for an amazing no bake lemon cheesecake parfait! (Optional: when mixing filling, add some fresh lemon zest and/or fresh lemon juice to punch up the tartness to your own taste preference!) Consistency of dessert after refrigerated will be thick like pudding. Enjoy!!!PREVIOUS:Very sweet! Needs more tartness imo. Some lemon zest would be a welcome addition, as it is not as strong of lemon flavor as I was hoping. It's more almost like a lemon/vanilla mingled thing going on due to the sugar getting in the way. Bring down the sugar, punch up the lemon. Then it would be a clear winner. Seems lemon stuff is always lacking and honestly wondering what has happened to lemon recipes or perhaps lemons themselves in the past decade to cause such disappointment. Too much sugar in our culture!!!!! (Just like chinese food general tsos in America is never spicy anymore! Enough with the excessive sweetness in everything!!!!)

A little expensive, but soooo worth it! Delicious! I’ve had it on a fresh sesame bagel with a small bit of cream cheese and as well on cranberry sourdough toast with a tad of butter. A little goes a long way. You just can’t go wrong with whatever the vessel! I will definitely order again.
