Works perfect but on my part, I did not read it didnt come with butane. Just ordered it up for the next delivery. My fault for not reading well enough. Really like the adjustable flame intensity.

Edited review.Seller completely stood behind product. Return of malfunctioning item was very convenient and the new item worked great. They even took care of any inconvenience I had. I intend to buy a few more for Christmas gifts.I purchased three and one did not work at all. One works intermittently and one seems to work consistently. The intermittent one is acceptable as its similar to pretty much all click lighters, but the one that doesn't work at all is not acceptable. Now that it is filled with propane, even if I return it I take a loss because I had to purchase the propane to fill it to find out it doesn't work. If the company stands behind it I'd elevate the review, if not, purchaser beware.

I bought several of these to use in various places around the house and for my wood soves. The controls are easy to use and the lock will help keep children safe. The adjustable flame is great and easy to use, you could light a cigarette right in front of your face or increase the flame and light cardboard. The flat base allows it to stand, hands free, so heating something you need to hold or manuever is easy. I had to return one because it was missing a washer (it rattled, the others didn't) but that process was almost painless. All of the others work great.

After A short period of time it started shooting flames from small to big and sputtering. It became unsafe to use. I would have tried to return it, but I was afraid that it would blow up in the mail when I sent it back.

I got this for mom to use when lighting fires in the wood stove. When it arrived I immediately charged it with fuel and tested it out.It easily performed as described and is a great size for normal use.The safety features work great, and I expect mom to be delighted with it once the weather cools again so she can light fires in the stove.

Where do I start? First, I thought having a moveable head would be nice bonus, but it moves all the time whether I want it to or not...very loose. Second, I prefer the lock switch to be on the back where my thumb can easily switch on & off but with it on the side I have to use both hands to hold flame open and lock. Third, it does not hold very much gas at all. I use it to pop the air bubbles in my painting and resin projects and I have to fill this every three or four projects. Fourth, the rubber pad on the bottom came off just two months after I got it. Fifth, as many other people said, the flame is out of control huge! And, it is very difficult to control, it does not have a range of flame; it is either super huge or off, nothing in between. And lastly, it no longer works. Almost to the exact date, 6 mo, it no longer works. I pull the trigger and gas comes out but no flame.And as always, the return window is closed but when you don't use something continuously all day long for the first 30 days, how are you supposed to know that it will break soon?I do NOT recommend.
