Does it cover the ears? And is it for winter? 30°F?

It does cover ears on a normal sized head. The beanie would work well for temps as cold as 10-15°F

Can i wear this in the summer ?

I do not wear the one I have in the summer. But it is very light and thin material. So with that being said, it's possible it can be worn in the summer without getting too hot.

Was your T idea actually to sale one (1) unknown size b/c it eliminates Sensical Marketing 101 approach?

No not to sell any just answering questions about the hat.

Does the water repellent effect remain after washing?

The beanie remains water repellent after washing.
