Not a strong truffle taste but these will be great in sauces

Overpowering but almost no discernible truffle flavor
Truffle Hunt seasoning is VERY strongly flavored - the pepper, garlic and soy they add overpower everything else. If you have an incredibly sensitive nose you can detect a **slight** hint of "mushroom" but definitely no "truffle". If you're looking for that "wow!" factor of knock-your-socks-off truffle I'd recommend Giusto Black Truffle Spice instead. I ordered that after receiving this and I could smell it when I opened the envelope (even through the seal on the package).I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because although it's a disappointment on truffle flavor, if you like strong spicy rubs for steaks and the like this will definitely deliver. I'm using this up by grinding it to a fine powder and sprinkling it on popcorn, but disappointed because I bought it for truffles and didn't find any....
