Not for small child
They are a little too long to keep the chest harness over his sternum for safest placement. Plus, he overheats easily, so they keep him quite warm. Not so good in the desert. But they do protect his neck from the straps rubbing him.

Poor quality and grey trim does not match the plush fabric
fabric is soft but they are not square, sides are different and pointy ends protrude. Not happy with the color match between the trim and plush fabric. Not the same as online pics. If I had kept the packaging I would be returning these.

Toddler approved
My toddler was complaining about the straps touching her hair, potentially pulling it when tightened. I ordered these as a buffer for her. So far they work great!

Great to have for any baby thing with straps.
We use these for our outdoor baby swing for the car seat! All of the above. Makes him so much more comfortable.
