Very nice - protects your investment.
Definitely not an “ easy install”Be ready to break out some elbow grease...Sticks super strong ( 3M duh 🙄)That being said I bought 8’ and it came with 3 super tiny activator pads that were made of foam so they deteriorated very fast- that said wipe the area quickly with the activator pad - I MAYBE was able to put activator on 1/2 of surface that needed it 🤷♂️I’m hoping that the activator is mostly for those who don’t prep their surface well....All In all it looks great 👍 & I don’t have to worry about scraping up my keel 😁———-Beached the boat 2x and gouged the shield- gator guard is sending me a new one free of charge.. I’m not looking forward to the labor involved but it did protect my keel & they are honoring their advertised warranty 💪💪

A+ company, A+ product
I have two boats. One has been installed for 10 years, the other boat 1 year. Within a day of each other, I damage both due to coming into the trailers to hot because of bad storms. The shields hit the center guide and tore open. Both boats are completely fine because of the protection this offers. No issues after 10 years of beaching and normal use so I would say these are excellent. I sent photos to company and they shipped two replacements out immediately, even when it was my fault. A+

Very pleased
YouTube for install and tips. Really helped me, I was nervous of screwing up. Once you start it's very straight forward and I did it solo. My best tip is use one hand with the activator and wipe quickly. It was 75* out and the activator started getting sticky and dry quick! So move fast .Lastly on the chined parts of your vessel make sure to remove less of the red strip, as to not accidentally have it stick to the hull. Roll your fist bottom to top and it will mold perfectly. Finish it off with life seal (fiberglass) around the edges for a lifetime seal

Protects your V Hull.
This is a great product to protect the v Hull of your boat. Proper preparation (Read instructions) is key to a good adhesion. To line up the keel shield (starting at the front and laying on my back directly underneath the V hull) I peeled only the center row of 3m tape off a little bit at a time and visually lined up the center of my hull with the center rib of the keel shield. Apply a lot of pressure until the end then I proceeded to one side at a time. I can’t emphasize enough the amount of pressure you need to apply. Then after all that I used painters taped and applied a line along the outer edge of the keel shield and applied 3M 5200 for a solid seal along the entire seam. The pictures will show how nice the edges turned out when you do a good tape job. It’s work but it’s worth it. My boat goes about 60mph and it’s still in place and I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon.

Horrible Product!
This product doesn't compare to a good quality keel guard product carried by boat dealers and repair shops. No way boat shops are they going to use something as flimsy as this. The peel-and-stick is a joke. You need to use real marine epoxy. This product suggest you use (have to purchase separately) 3M 5200 epoxy to seal the outer edge. When done correctly using a real keel guard, this additional sealing around the edge is not necessary.Additionally. the better quality keel guards are much thicker and wider and look better.Good luck to those who buy this product... you'll need it.

Beach protection
Great protection for my boat. Some of my boat’s keel was worn by the trailer axle rubbing it. Repaired the keel to a degree, installed this protector for my light beachings. It probably won’t resist against my trailer axle, so I launch and recover with the trailer deeper so my boat floats more during the process. I had the Keel Protector professionally installed because trying to install 9 ft straight, with permanent glue, while laying on my back and trying to not screw this up or hurt myself was a safer option. Love the insurance of this protecting my boat.

Installed easily, so far so good.
Not sure if I should give it five stars, I haven't had it in the water yet, but installation is done and it went really smooth.Recently bought used boat with existing keel issues. Followed the instructions and installed myself in about an hour and a half (there were a couple smoke breaks). Looks great, and I already feel better about beaching my boat. Hopefully it holds up in water as other reviews state, I'll keep you posted, we're launching tomorrow.

2016 SeaDoo
I used KeelShield KS-8BLK Keel Protector on my 2016 SeaDoo RXT 260 and GTX 155 and with some modification to the front portion of the KeelShield to match the S3 hull design, they worked beautifully. I also used the 3M Marine caulk around the edges. It helps blend it all in. You cant see it in the water, and on the trailer it looks like its part of the SeaDoo. Although it took me all day to do both skies, I am very pleased with this product.

decent product
though i find these a little expensive for what they are, it did the job well and has withstood speed, submersion, and a couple bumps already. Only issue I had was with the shape of the boat, it did not adhere well. There is a little portion in the center that didnt quite stick flush after sticking the right and left... though this doesnt appear to have affected its adherence
