Have tried two different sim cards on two different networks (Tesco and GiffGaff) and we cannot get the watch to make or receive calls, which was the whole point of buying it for our daughter who is beginning to walk to and from school on her own. Therefore, the watch is next to useless. However, she does like the games and it does tell the time. Shame we've spent £20 in trying to top up sim cards with credit and way more than we needed to on a watch with some games.

I like the features

Adorable little smart watch for kidsThis is a cute little smart watch. All blue with a nice sized screen at roughly 4.5cm x 3.5cm x 1.2cm. You have the micro usb charging port covered up on the side, a camera, a torch and home button on the other side and a selfie camera on the front.The touch screen wasn't as good at the base of the screen, as it was the rest of the screen but it did still work, you could just tell the sensitivity with games was slightly different in that area that's all.The functioning of the watch is good, it all works pretty well. You have quite a bit to do on here, you can learn to tell the time, which I like as it helps them understand what they're seeing on the clock on the main screen. On the main screen, you can pull up the screen and you can have the time read our for you, which is also good. There are a decent amount of games, a mix between educational and fun ones. You have the two cameras, these work with filters and frames, making them that little bit more fun. There is a recorder, to make your own videos too. Add your own music, do some exercises, learn different sounds and a good bit more.There was a cat game on there called 'bobby' I couldn't get this to do more than wash the cat, so I'm unsure if there's meant to be more to that. Two of the games didn't work properly but all of the 16 others did.The little ones can play with how they want the initial screen to look, how the clock is displayed, change the theme of the watch, so they can make it more suited to themselves.I do think this is a fab smart watch, due to it actually teaching the time and showing the time, the multitude of games being a mix of learning and fun, the ease of how everything is set out on the watch and how easy it is to enter and exit each part. I do think if they fixed the game issue, I would recommend it, I think it's that little bit better thought out, than some other kids smart watches.

GrandKids enjoyed for a week or so but haven’t seen much of the watches since about a week after xmas

My son is extremely disappointed. He has been so looking forward to making calls from this phone. He literally didn't sleep until sim card arrived but it turns out it is not working. No problem with the card or the line as tried on other devices. Very annoyed that they can disappoint children in that way. I am glad this wasn't one of the Christmas presents.

Hi i had inserted the sim, and also confirmed with provider that the sim is 2g enabled, but i am not able to make calls from watch , it shows no signal and getting a message UNable to COnnect, anybody facing similar issues and how to sort?. the nano sim doesnt have a pin set

The media could not be loaded.  Absolutely love this smart watch. It has really amazing features and has a long battery life too. My lil one loves this watch.Features:) Analog and Digital clock2) Calling feature3) camera and video recorder4) music player5) voice recorder6) calculator and calendar7) time features such as alarm, stop watch and timer8) torch9) pedometer10) games and many more featuresThe watch takes in a 2G SIM card and at the time of the review I didn't have a 2G SIM so was unable to test that feature. My lil one has been using thia watch for the last few days and has been thoroughly exploring the features of the watch. He finds it very easy to use and all the features listed above work very well. There are 2 cameras one at the front and other at the side and both the cameras capture clear crisp images. The speaker works very well too. Another very important bit I was impressed about was parental settings and school timing settings - you can disable the games and all the unimportant bits during school hours. One more plus is the watch has a good strap. My child has very small wrist so when I purchased watches earlier the straps were too big. The strap of this watch is really very good and the velcro on the strap is very effective. The watch doesn't come off easily and fits all the wrist sizes.Very very impressed with this item. Will certainly buy this item to give as gifts for Christmas
