I like the wee handle spring thingy I could play with it all day, somewhat wistfully, ah well. Grinds the coffee beans in less than 30 seconds. Lovely piece of kit and beautifully engineered.

This has been a great grinder for 6 months but this product is seriously let down by the flimsy plastic lid which has cracked though normal daily use. I see I am not the only person who has experienced this. I expected a lot more from the product given the price. Amazon don't offer returns on the product after 30 days and not had any joy from the manufacturer. Yes, it does a great job of grinding beans but don't expect your product to last. Very disappointed 😞

I was looking for a new handgrinder to replace my first one which was a Zassenhaus ceramic burr grinder which cost around 50€ if I remember well. Through the years I already upgraded to an electric grinder (Baratza Forte BG) so I already found out what the impact of a good grinder can be. Now I needed a new handgrinder that I can use when not at home as the old one finally broke. I use it for filter and aeropress. I was in doubt to go for 1zpresso q2 or timemore c2. Q2 was nowhere in stock and this c3 pro popped up for just a bit more expensive than the old model c2. I went for the C3 pro as it has the newer burr and foldable handle. I know there might be better, more expensive grinders out there but I couldn’t justify a pricetag twice of this one for what I would use it for. And I’m glad I didn’t. It feels very solid, grind quality is really great (certainly at this pricepoint). There is some plastic on the inside but the parts that matter are all metal. It grinds with ease and is certainly fast enough for my needs. Comes with a brush and travel pouch. The foldable handle is a clever design which makes it easy to store without disassembling and serves as a grounds knocker as well. I am very happy with my purchase and can highly recommend this grinder!

Updated 03.10.2025 Wir haben für unsere Siebträger-Kaffeemaschine die TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 PRO manuelle Kaffeemühle gekauft. Die Lieferung erfolgte wie gewohnt bei Amazon schnell und gut verpackt. Schon beim Auspacken machte die Mühle einen sehr robusten Eindruck, und auch die Verarbeitung wirkt insgesamt hochwertig. Nach einem halben Jahr Nutzung ist jedoch der Deckel gebrochen. Ursache war das Material, da an dieser Stelle Kunststoff verbaut wurde. Wir haben die Firma in China direkt kontaktiert und unsere Kritik geäußert, dass bei einer so hochwertigen und teuren Mühle an einem so wichtigen Teil nicht gespart werden sollte. Das Problem entsteht dadurch, dass sich durch die Spannung im Design mit der Zeit Risse bilden, die letztlich zum Bruch führen. Der Hersteller hat schnell und sehr kundenorientiert reagiert. Wir haben sogar einen Prototyp-Deckel aus Metall erhalten, der deutlich robuster ist und seitdem problemlos funktioniert. Diese Lösung zeigt, dass die Firma auf Kundenfeedback eingeht und ihre Produkte kontinuierlich verbessert. Insgesamt sind wir mit der TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 PRO sehr zufrieden. Dank des hervorragenden Services und der verbesserten Lösung vergeben wir nachträglich die volle Sternebewertung. 05.01.2023 An sich eine gute Mühle mit sehr guter Verarbeitung. Dennoch ist der Preis zu hoch, darum hat es für 5 Sterne nicht gereicht
