Not pleased with the non functioning units.
Looked good. The FOB could not be programmed to my vehicle and the key is not the same. Spent $65.00 usd for the Ford dealer to tell me he could not program either unit.

Nice Quality but it doesn't work for our 2018 Ford Escape Titianium
The good news is that smart key Fobs arrived on time. It is well built and the battery was at full charged.The bad news is that it does not work for our 2018 Ford Titanium. Even if this key Fob wold have worked, The information for programming this device wasn't very easy to find.

Programming the key
My old key fobs for my 2016 Ford cMax were worn out. The main electronics were fine but the contacts were worn out. Ford wanted $400 for a new fob & $150 to program these with no guarantee on an OEM fob. I was able to use my old electronics on these new fobs & the car automatically recognized them.

Programming not simple for all cars.
The information said it worked for all vehicles from 2013 to 2017 (Ford). I have a 2017 Ford Escort. We were unable to program it ourselves and upon further research found that most others had that same issue. The Ford dealership said we would have to tow it in and they could do the programming. We called a mobile locksmith. They came and programmed them in just a few minutes. Both fobs work great but even though I replaced the battery in the one I am always using, it still gives me a low battery warning every time I start the car. It goes away quickly but it's like the boy who cried "wolf"...I'll never know when it's really low.

I was slightly hesitant because I knew there was a chance they wouldn't work, but both keys programmed just fine and do the job well

TITANIUM TRIM OWNERS BEWARE
if you don’t have a PEPS system in your car, these keys WILL NOT work. I have a 2014 ford escape titanium trim with a peps key and a locksmith could not program my car because these keys didn’t have a PEPS.
