Review: Good all round guitar - Solidly built in Indonesia the Yamaha Pacifica is a nice guitar. Not too heavy and a comfortable neck. Pickups seem very loud to me especially the humbucker. Good though. 5 way switch so lot so alot of sound variety. The only neg is the tremolo which works fine but can get in the way of the volume and treble adjustment knobs if you're not too careful. From funk to punk it can pretty much do anything like most Strat style guitars. Good value. Mine did not have a strap though I always use my old Rick strap anyway.

Solidly built in Indonesia the Yamaha Pacifica is a nice guitar. Not too heavy and a comfortable neck. Pickups seem very loud to me especially the humbucker. Good though. 5 way switch so lot so alot of sound variety. The only neg is the tremolo which works fine but can get in the way of the volume and treble adjustment knobs if you're not too careful. From funk to punk it can pretty much do anything like most Strat style guitars. Good value. Mine did not have a strap though I always use my old Rick strap anyway.
