I know this is mainly marketed as a mobile monitor mount, but I use it to mount a Zoom recorder on top of my Sony camera. It's also great for mounting a GoPro to capture video while you're snapping photos. It's well built and seems more durable than the cheaper models from other brands.

My Sony Z150 camera does not have any place other than the hot shoe to mount a monitor. This one works very well for my purposes with its tilt and swivel function. I've been very happy with SmallRig products.
