I am in the process of building my own library. This works perfectly, the impression is a bit different than the design, but only in places like eyes and such which is to be expected. I'm excited to use this so I don't have to write my name in my books anymore and this looks much better. If you're thinking about it, do it, it's 100% worth the money. It makes me happy that I don't have to buy ink to stamp.

The shipping was faster than the original eta. After it arrived, I tested it first before wrapping it up as a gift. The embossed print was perfectly even, legible and downright cool. My girlfriend has her own mini library and absolutely loves her new custom embosser. I also ordered gold stickers which make a nice embossed seal/label. It works great on the stickers or the plain book page. I highly recommend this as a gift or for yourself.

The embrosser appears to be good quality (although this is my first). It has a locking mechanism to keep it closed and a bag to keep it clean from debris. The actual design is crisp, clean, well defined and nicely elevated. I love the design that was chosen for me and would consider buying one as a gift in the future.

Looks immaculate with a card stock. I also tested on an incredibly thin sheet of paper and was still completely satisfied. Worked beautifully on an unfolded single ply (dollar tree) cocktail napkin. With full pressure, on the thinnest paper I could find, I got tiny pin holes in a couple letters but I can’t stress enough how insignificant they are. Doubling up with another thin paper solved it but you will sacrifice a small amount of embossing depth. It is a gift for my book lover friend and she will be thrilled.

I bought two as gifts and they both work well out of the box. They are easy to use and the text is fully legible. My only complaint would be not having a little more information provided. For example what thickness of paper it is effective on or whether you should press lighter on some thicknesses.

My girlfriend is an avid reader who has a lot of book and loans out her books to friends. I bought this as a birthday gift and she loves it.It's held up great, it's affordable, it's the perfect size for the corner, and it's readable.When looking for a personal gift for a reader you can't go wrong with this, I got the owl image as my gf is a huge HP fan. I bought her the hard back collecter edition and felt this was the perfect addition to her library for her vast amount of books and to make them more personal.
