Bought this after looking into various makes and models. This seemed to fit the bill for us as it has slightly larger capacity in terms of the amount of water / cooking capability it could do in one go. Its a great bit of kit. It is very well made and very compact. Easy to set up, even when the weather isn't playing ball and despite wind and rain it did exactly what it needed to do very quickly and efficiently. At its price point compared to competitors, its great value and we would highly recommend. We use it for camping / hiking and it packs down well and is very light. Perfect for a hot drink or heating food quickly on the go.

Si estás buscando una estufa portátil para montaña, vivacs o escapadas donde el fuego abierto no es opción, este hornillo te va a enamorar como a mí. La Fire-Maple FMS-X2 no solo cumple, sino que supera expectativas. Ligera, compacta, con materiales de calidad (aluminio y acero inoxidable), y con un rendimiento espectacular. La olla de 1L se integra perfectamente con el sistema, haciendo que todo el conjunto sea fácil de transportar y guardar. No ocupa nada, pesa poco y rinde mucho. ✅ Lo que más me ha gustado (PROS): • Velocidad brutal: hierve el agua en poco más de un minuto. Me preparo el café por la mañana y la comida caliente en plena montaña sin perder tiempo ni calor. • Encendido piezoeléctrico: sin mecheros, sin complicaciones. Pulsas, enciende y a calentar. • Estabilidad y seguridad: viene con su trípode estabilizador, lo que lo hace muy firme incluso en suelos irregulares. • Eficiencia real: aunque estés a 1.000 metros de altitud o con viento, no pierde fuerza. Hierve, cocina o calienta incluso en condiciones adversas. • Accesorios incluidos: tapa, soporte interno, estabilizador… todo cabe en la olla. • Compatibilidad con botellas universales de gas. • Ideal para no hacer fuego: en épocas de calor extremo o riesgo de incendios, esto es una alternativa perfecta y segura. 💡 Yo además le he añadido el filtro de café con presión de la misma marca (recomendado al 100%) y me hago mi café cada mañana como si estuviera en casa. Es un pequeño lujo en plena naturaleza. 🙋‍♂️ Contexto real de uso: Peso 110 kg, mido 1,85 m, y me muevo bastante cargado cuando salgo. Esta mini cocina portátil aguanta el trote, es robusta, compacta y no falla. Me acompaña en mis salidas con el Grupo Especial Comando, un canal de supervivencia que acabamos de lanzar. Calienta rápido, ocupa poco, es práctica y segura. Para mí es una compra de 10 y la recomendaré a cualquiera que haga montaña, bushcraft, vivac o simplemente quiera una solución potente y portátil para cocinar sin fuego. ⭐ Valoración final: 5 estrellas sin dudarlo

¡Me encanta! Es más grande de lo que me imaginaba, tiene una capacidad de un litro y se ve de muy buena calidad. Viene con los accesorios para poder poner la bombona de gas cómodamente y sin complicaciones. Recomendable

Really great little stove. The best feature is how all the parts fit inside the included pot and the pan handle folds over and secures down to keep everything together and not rattling about. However it took me a few mins to work out exactly how to stack everything such that it does fit in the pot - for anyone struggling with this, the photo 4 on the amazon listing shows the order, and don't be afraid to press down quite hard as the gas (if using 230g, 100g fits regardless) needs to "pop" into the notches on the stove and then the whole assembly is short enough to fit into the pan so the lid can go on. One downside is that "un-popping" the gas from the notches on the stove when it has been stored is unreasonably difficult at least on my model - I can imagine this might be frustrating with cold and/or wet hands at the top of a hill. However this may just be specific to my brand of gas. Going from stored to cooking takes just a few seconds and everything feels high quality and premium. The feet that clip onto the gas canister and the fact that the pot secures to the stove means that you end up with a very stable cooking system. The heat exchangers around the bottom of the pot also mean that vastly more heat ends up in the pot so your water is boiling much quicker and with less gas used. The included piezoelectric sparker works well but I'd always carry a lighter in addition just in case. The system is primarily designed for boiling water, so for teas/coffees, and dehydrated/vacuum packed camping meals. The stove comes with a regular pot holder so you can put a frying pan on it and do some regular cooking but the main use is boiling water.
