In 1968, my father started writing a musical based on a Russian play called "The Dragon". Though it has never been performed in wide circulation, the show "Dragons" has had many readings and productions which have necessitated finding thematic gifts for key members of the productions (producer, director, key actors, etc.). Since the show features a three-headed dragon as the primary villain, that has always been the goal - one that used to prove virtually impossible. It seemed that people were manufacturing statues and toys of two- or five-headed dragons but not three-headed ones. (This gives lie to one of the lyrics from the show: "How many heads?" "Three." "Typical."Now at last it seems people are manufacturing three-headed dragons and this one is exactly as my father always says he envisioned his dragon for the show. The sculpting is exquisite as is the painting and the price is, to say the least, a steal - especially when you realize how long my mother and I have searched for something even remotely similar. I want to call attention to the fact that in the photo what you cannot see is that the paint-job is augmented by glitter which only enhances the appearance of something magical. The first one was a surprise opening-night gift for my father. We then ordered three more as gifts for the director, producer and musical director/pianist (it was a staged reading) which were praised. I hope they continue to manufacture this particular statuette as we will want more as gifts for future productions.

VERY small, VERY glittery (which I liked, but wasn't depicted in the photo.Doesn't look near as well made in person. Still a beautiful piece.

Wasn't as nice as the other figurines I had ordered.

It is medium-sized but very nice it came damaged .so not to happy . Husband was surprised liked it but sad it came broken .

I never really ordered it I made a mistake maybe and put it in my cart but I didn't know that orders it was just checking them out
